Happy New year!!!!!

Het jaar zit er weer bijna op en dat betekent dat dit mijn laatste nail art van 2013 wordt. Maar niet getreurd, ook in 2014 zal ik weer veel nail arts, reviews en tutorials voor jullie op mijn blog plaatsen. De bovenstaande nail art is geïnspireerd op het vuurwerk van oud en nieuw. Deze nagels bestaan uit 2 verschillende designs en de kleuren vallen extra op door de zwarte achtergrond. Ik heb ook nog wat strass steentjes toegevoegd voor een bijzonder effect!

Hello everyone! 2013 is almost over and I'd love to share with you my final nail art for this year. But, no worries :) I'll continue making nail arts, reviews and tutorials for you guys in 2014! The nails that I want to show you today are a combination of 2 different designs and they are inspirated by the fire works. Because of the black background, the colors will stand out even more. Op deze afbeelding kunnen jullie een van mijn nagels met het vuurwerk design zien. Ik heb hiervoor een strass steentje als middelpunt gekozen. Vervolgens heb ik mijn dottingtool gebruikt om het vuurwerk verder uit te werken. Door het herhalen van de roze en grijze nagellak ontstaat een feestelijk effect! Ook valt het vuurwerk nog meer op door de zwarte achtergrond.

As you can see in the picture, I created the firework design using some strass stones in the center of my nails. I've also used a dottingtool to complete this nail art design. For the firework itself, I've used some grey and pink polishes. I created a nice effect by repeating the colors on my nails. The fireworks stand out even more through the black background.

Het is nu precies 3 maanden geleden sinds deze blog de lucht in ging. Ik had al veel langer het plan om een eigen blog te beginnen, maar in oktober heb ik eindelijk de stap gezet. En ik heb er absoluut geen spijt van. :) Het is hard werken, en ik steek veel tijd in mijn artikelen. Als ik 3 maanden geleden geweten zou hebben waar het me allemaal zou brengen, was ik veel eerder een eigen blog begonnen! Ik heb de afgelopen maanden veel andere blogs ontdekt, die voor mij een grote inspiratie geworden zijn! Ook ben ik alle lezers van mijn blog erg dankbaar voor de support. Het doet zo veel met me om jullie lieve comments terug te lezen en ik wil de volgers van mijn blog dan ook bedanken!

Ik hoop volgend jaar nog meer blogs te ontdekken en ik wens iedereen een mooi en gezond 2014!


It's now exactly three months ago since I started this blog; creativenails4fun. And I have absolutely no regrets sharing my nail arts with you guys. :) I put a lot of work into my articles but if I'd known where this blog would bring me threemonths ago, I'd definitely started my blog much earlier! In the last months, I've also discovered a lot of other nail blogs which have become a greatinspiration for me! I'm very thankfull of all the readers that read my articles and support me and my blog. I love reading all of your comments and I'd also like to thank all the people that started following my blog!

I hope to inspire a lot of other bloggers next year, and I wish everyone a wonderfull and healthy 2014!

In dit artikel kunnen jullie mijn versie van de rendier nagels zien. Ik heb deze gecombineerd met een fel rode lak van de Primark.

Toen ik vorige week bij de Primark was, zag ik deze schattige nepnagels voor de feestdagen. Ik besloot ze mee te nemen en al snel kreeg ik inspiratie voor een nieuwe nail art! Volgende week zal er een uitgebreide review van de Primark nepnagels online komen :)

When I was at Primark last week, I saw this cutereindeer nails for this year's Christmas.

I decided to take them home with me, and soon I got some inspiration for a newnail art! Next week I'll will place a review of the Primark fake nails on my blog!

Ook heb ik voor het eerst de nagellak van Primark uitgeprobeerd. Ik wist al dat Primark lakjes van het eigen merk verkocht, maar ze waren me nog nooit opgevallen. Tot vandaag! Ik las op internet al een aantal negatieve reviews over deze nagellak, maar gek genoeg ben ik erg over deze lakjes te spreken. Ik kocht 2 kleuren. De felrode kleur die jullie op bovenstaande afbeeldingen kunnen zien heet; Pillarbox Red. Ook heb ik een nieuwe witte nagellak van dit merk mee naar huis genomen. Deze heet; Snow white.
De nagellak bedekt mijn nagels met 2 dunne laagjes en kost ongeveer € 2.75.


 I'vealso bought some polishes at Primark that I used for this Christmas design. I knew that Primark had it's own polishes but, I'd never noticed them while I was shopping. Until today! Yesterday, I red on other blogs some negative reviews aboutthese polishes, but weard enough, I am very pleased with the quality. I've bought 2 bottles of the Primark nail polish. The bright red color that you can see in the pictures is called; PillarboxRed. I've also bought a new white nail polish. This one is called; Snow White. The nail polish covered my nails with  just twothin layers of polish!

 

Voor het design zelf heb ik weer gekozen voor 2 accentnagels in combinatie met deze felrode- witte print. Ik heb mijn striper gebruikt om alle lijnen strak te krijgen en ik moest dan ook even oefenen voordat ik tevreden was met het resultaat. Ik denk dat de rendiertjes goed matchen met de rode nagellak en ze zijn dan ook perfect voor deze kerst!

For the design itself, I decided to work with two accent nails in combination with a bright red polish. I've also made a white pattern on my nails. I used my striper to get all the lines straight enough and at the end I was very satisfied with the result of this Christmas manicure!

Nails4Winter challenge! #3 Santa Claus

Hoi iedereen! Zoals je in de foto al kunt zien heb ik vandaag weer een kerst nail art voor jullie. Deze bestaat uit een simpele French manicure met 3 kleuren en een accent nagel met een schattige kerstman. Je moet even gaan zitten voor deze nail art maar het uiteindelijke resultaat is zeker geslaagd. De nagels zijn een echte eyecatcher voor deze kerst. Hi everyone! Today I'd like to show you another Christmas nail art! This nail art consists of

a simple French manicure with threecolors and an accent nail with a cute little Santa Claus. You have to be patient to create these nails, but at the end, the overall result looks great. The nails are a beautiful eye-catcher for this years Christmas.

De felle rode nagellak die ik voor deze nail art heb gebruikt is van Rimmel London. Deze heet; Nr. 271 High Energy. Hij bedekt al mijn nagels al met 1 laagje van de lak :) Het is dus een zeer geschikte kleur als basis voor nail arts. Verder heb ik  witte en zwarte stripers gebruikt en een dottingtool voor de ogen en de neus van de kerstman. 

 The bright red nail polish that I used for these nailsis from Rimmel London. This one is called; nr. 271 High Energy. He covered all my nails with just one layer of polish.

So, this is the perfect polishas a basis for my christmas manicure. I’ve also usedsome black and white stripers and a dottingtoolfor the eyes and nose of the little Santa Claus.

 
Zoals jullie in deze post kunnen zien en lezen houd ik van de French manicure in combinatie met een accent nagel. Bij deze nail art valt de mini kerstman hierdoor nog meer op en versterken de kleuren elkaar. Aan de French manicure zelf heb ik nog een dun zwart lijntje als detail toegevoegd!

 As you can see and read in this post, I love the French manicure in combination with an accent nail. The little Santa Claus looks therefore even more notable, and the overall result came out looking great. On the French manicure itself, I've added a thin black line with my striper as a simple detail.

Yesterday I found out that GFC (Google Friends Connect) wasn't working at all. :( 

When I red about this on other blogs, I was shocked, because I love following all of your blogs, and I got so much inspiration from your posts! Fortunately, this morning GFC started working again. :) I have my blog creativenails4fun 3 months now, so I hadn't got the time to make a Bloglovin account myself. But a few minutes ago I did, besides the fact that GFC is working again! So, now I've a GFC and a Bloglovin account for my blog creativenails4fun.

Nails4Winter challenge! #2 christmas tree

Hello Everyone! In this article, I'd like to show you my second nail art for this years Christmas. It's inspirated on the Christmas tree :) This week, we've bought our little tree, and that's one of the main reasons I start getting into the Christmas mood! Deze nail art is een combinatie van alle denkbare kerstkleuren. Voor de groene kleur heb ik mijn inmiddels welbekende favoriete lak van OPI (Jade is the new black) gebruikt. De rode nagellak is een combinatie van meerdere lakjes, omdat ik de perfecte bordeauxrode kleur helaas nog niet in mijn stash heb zitten. Verder heb ik een witte nagellak en gouden glitters voor de details op mijn nagels gebruikt.

 

In the picture above, you can see my nails for our Christmas tree :) This nail art is a combination of all imaginable Christmas colors. For the dark green color of the tree, I used my favorite polish from OPI called Jade is the new black. The red polish that I used for this design is a combination of several polishes, because I haven't got the perfect Christmas red in my stash. At the end, I used a white polish and some gold details for this Nail art.
 

 

Mijn pink, middelvinger en duim heb ik dus eerst in een bordeauxrode kleur gelakt. Hier heb ik vervolgens met mijn striper, sierlijke witte lijnen op aangebracht. Op mijn andere nagels heb ik een kerstboom gemaakt. Nadat ik met mijn striper de groene kerstboom had gelakt, heb ik een gouden glitterlak en 2 gouden inlegfiguren voor de details van de boom gebruikt. 

To create this nail art, I first painted my nails in a red polish. Then I used my striper, to create some white lines on my nails. On my other nails I made the Christmas tree. After I painted the green tree withmy striper, I finished my nails using the gold glitter polish and two goldbutterfly figures for the details of the tree.

 

 

Ik wou een nail art maken met 2 verschillende designs en kleuren die goed bij het thema kerst passen. Uiteindelijk was ik erg blij met het resultaat van deze nail art! Ik hoop dat jullie mijn nagels ook geslaagd vinden :) Hieronder kunnen jullie zien welke challenges ik de komende weken aan zal gaan.

I wanted to create a nail art using two different designs and colors that fit well with the theme of Christmas. At last, I was very pleased with the result of this nail art!

Hoi allemaal! Vandaag wil ik jullie graag de swatches van deze mooie donkerblauwe nagellak laten zien. Dit is een lakje van Rimmel London. Hij heet Nr. 425 My Demin. Ik heb deze nagellak nu al zo'n 2 jaar in mijn stash zitten, en hij is nog steeds een van mijn favorieten. Zoals je op de plaatjes in dit artikel kunt zien houdt de dekking van deze nagellak niets te wensen over. 2 dunne laagjes zijn genoeg om je nagels helemaal te bedekken. Deze nagellak is dus zeer geschikt voor nail arts, en ik heb eerder deze week dan ook een winterse nail art met deze nagellak online geplaatst!

As you can see in this article, the coverage of this polish is amazing! I only needed 2 coats of the polish to cover all my nails. This is also the perfect nail polish as a base for your nail arts!

Last week I've posted a nail art for this winter using this Blue color from Rimmel London.

 

Ook over de kleur zelf ben ik erg te spreken! in fel licht komt het blauw uit deze nagellak nog meer naar voren, maar soms heeft hij een grijze ondertoon. De kleur past goed bij de naam van deze lak, (my demin) want hij doet me inderdaad aan een spijkerbroek denken! Deze nagellak lakt ook erg fijn dankzij het brede kwastje! Hierdoor is het nog makkelijker om de nagellak gelijkmatig over je nagels te verdelen.

Al met al is dit nog steeds een van mijn favorieten nagellakjes voor deze winter!

I'm also a big fan of the color of this Nailpolish! In bright light, the demin blue comes out beautiful, but this polish has also a gray undertone. I like how the name of this polish (my Demin) matches with the color itself. Aplying this polish works also very well because the nail polishes from Rimmel London have such big brushes!

Overal, this polish from Rimmel London is still one of my favorites for this years winter!

 

Nails4Winter challenge! #1 Ice Crystals

 

Hallo allemaal! De komende weken zal ik een aantal winterse nail arts voor jullie gaan maken die perfect zijn voor de feestdagen van dit jaar. Vandaag mijn eerste nail art creatie! Het is een French manicure in combinatie met witte ijskristallen. Lees snel verder als je wilt weten hoe ik deze nail art heb gemaakt, en welke nagellakjes ik voor deze creatie heb gebruikt.

De eyecatcher van deze nail art zijn de grote witte ijs kristallen op mijn ringvinger en duim. Ik heb hiervoor eerst een donker blauw lakje van Rimmel London gebruikt. Deze heet; Nr. 425 My Demin. Vervolgens heb ik voor de kristallen een witte nagellak en mijn stripers gebruikt. Het koste wat oefening om de lijnen helemaal strak te krijgen, maar uiteindelijk mag het resultaat er zijn! :)

The eyecatcher of these nails are the big white Ice Crystals on my ring finger and thumb. First, I used a dark blue polish from Rimmel London called Nr. 425 My Demin. After that I painted the Crystals with a white nail polish and my stipers.
 

Mijn andere nagels heb ik een French manicure gegeven. Ik heb voor de uiteinden van mijn nagels een ook blauwe nagellak van Rimmel London gebruikt. Hij heet; Nr. 420 aquacool. Vervolgens heb ik nog een donker blauw lijntje aangebracht. Hiervoor heb ik hetzelfde blauwe lakje gekozen als ik voor mijn duim en ringvinger heb gebruikt. Als laatst heb ik met een stiper de witte sterren aangebracht en nog wat kleine witte stippen met mijn dottingtool gezet.

For my other nails, I created a beautiful French manicure. First, I used a light blue polish (also from Rimmel London called; Nr. 420 aquacool) for the tips of my nails. After that I used Nr. 425 My Demin for the dark blue details. At the end, I made the little Ice Crystals and the sparkles with a white nail polish, my stripers and a dottingtool.

~Swatches~ W.I.C Herome & Glitter Topcoat

 

Vandaag heb ik voor jullie deze roze nagellak gecombineerd met een gouden glitter topcoat! De roze kleur is erg fel, maar door hem te combineren met deze feestelijke gouden glitters, is hij ook geschikt voor de winter, en perfect voor de feestdagen.

Today I’d like to show you this pink nail polish in combination with a gold glitter topcoat! The pink color is very bright. But with this beautiful gold glitter, it’s also suitable to wear in the winter. These polishes are also perfect for this year’s christmas. Keep on reading for the photos and information about these two polishes.
 

 

 Voor de felroze kleur heb ik een lakje van W.I.C herôme gebruikt. Dit lakje heet Las Vegas! Ik vind het leuk dat alle nagellak van herôme naar een andere stad of land zijn vernoemd. En de kleuren van deze lakjes passen meestal ook goed bij die naam! Ik ben erg tevreden over de dekking van dit lakje. Een laag is al voldoende om al je nagels te bedekken. Deze lak blijft ook erg lang op je nagels zitten. Na 4 dagen begon mijn eerste nagel pas te chippen.
For the bright pink color, I’ve used a polish from WICHerôme. This polish is called; Las Vegas! I like that all the nail polishes of Herôme refer to another city or country in the world. The colors of these polishesusually fit well with their names. I am verypleased with the coverage of this polish. One layer of polish is enough to  cover all your nails!

 

Nadat ik mijn nagels roze had gelakt, pakte ik een gouden glitter nagellak. Deze is van L’oreal Paris en heet Nr. 910 Gold Lurex. Eerst bracht ik een laagje van de Topcoat aan, maar omdat mijn nagels toen nog niet helemaal goed bedekt waren bracht ik nog een 2^e laag aan. Hierboven zie je het resultaat. Ik vind de gouden topcoat van L’oreal erg mooi. Je kunt zelf bepalen hoeveel lagen van de lak, je wilt aanbrengen. Bij een laag zie je een paar subtiele glitters, bij twee lagen vallen je nagels lekker op en zijn ze perfect voor deze feestdagen!

After painting my nails a bright pink, I looked for a gold glitter Nail polish. This one is from L’oreal Paris and is called Nr. 910 Gold Lurex. First I painted my nails with one layer of the topcoat. This gave a subtl glitter but my nails weren’t covered at all. I decided to bring on a second layer of polish. In the pictures you can see the result. I love this Gold Topcoat from L’oreal Paris, it looks beautiful on my nails. You can decide how many layers of polish you want to apply! This two polishes together make the perfect match for this year’s christmas J

Burberry nails!

Hoi allemaal! Vandaag heb ik voor jullie deze Burberry nail art. Deze is al door meerdere blogs gemaakt, maar omdat dit een van mijn favoriete designs is, wou ik hem toch graag aan jullie laten zien. In dit artikel kun je meer lezen over deze nagel creatie.

Hello everyone! Today I’d like to show you this Burberry nail art. This nail art design is already made by a couple of nail bloggers, but I wanted to show you guys this nail art anyway. It’s one of my favorite designs! In this article, you can read more about my Burberry nails.

 

De basis van deze nail art is een nude kleurig lakje van Rimmel London. Ik heb Nr. 367 Bare Necessities gebruikt. Daaroverheen heb ik witte en zwarte strepen aangebracht met mijn striper en als laatste de rode details. Bij deze nail art moeten de lijnen wel strak zijn, anders ziet het er al snel slordig uit. Maar als je Burberry nail art eenmaal klaar is mag het resultaat er zijn!


First I painted my nails with a basic nude color. I’ve used a polish from Rimmel London for this design called; Nr. 367 Bare Necessities. After that, I’ve made some black and white stripes with my striper. I’ve finished this Burberry nails with some red details.

In this nail art, the lines have to be very tight, otherwise it’s going to look messy. But once your nails are finished, the result of this nail art is great!

Op de dag dat ik foto’s van mijn nagels wou maken werkte het licht totaal niet mee. Normaal maak ik mijn foto’s binnen met kunstlicht maar nu het donkerder wordt, en ik nog niet veel ervaring met fotograferen heb, wordt het steeds moeilijker om scherpe foto’s te maken. Toen ik ’s middags thuis kwam dacht ik ineens; ‘waarom geen foto’s in de tuin?’ Zoals je in dit artikel ziet, blijft natuurlijk licht toch echt het mooist!

 

On the day, I took the pictures of my nails, the light didn’t cooperate at all. J  Normally, I make my pictures indoor with artificial light. But it’s getting more and more darker outside and I don’t have much experience with taking pictures. As a result it becomes difficult to take nice photos. When I got home that day, I suddenly thought, 'Why not taking pictures in my garden?’ As you can see in this article, natural light remains the best for taking beautiful pictures!
