Here I am again! Today I'd like to share an overview of several different nail polish releases with you. The collections that I'm going to share with you in this article are released this month. I get nail press releases via email every day but they rarely appear on my blog in the form of an advertorial. En dit is dan het lakje dat ik met jullie wil delen! De mooie paarse lak die jullie in dit artikel kunnen bewonderen heet: Anime-zing Color!Echt een leuke naam vind ik :) Ik heb al een aantal paarse lakken in mijn collectie maar deze zag er wel heel mooi en nieuw uit! Toen ik het eerste laagje van de lak had laten drogen besloot ik nog een tweede laag aan te brengen om deze kleur nog meer in het oog te laten springen. En dat was een goede keuze. Met twee lagen dekt deze lak perfect, en het viel me op dat deze kleur ook snel en glad opdroogt. De kleur werd voor mijn gevoel steeds opvallender, en ik was erg blij met het eindresultaat. Zoals de naam al zegt: een Amazing Color!

  And this is the polish that I want to share with you today! The beautiful purple lacquer that you can admire in this article is called: Anime-zing Color! A really nice name :) I think I already have some purple polishes in my collection, but this one lookes very nice and new! When waited for the first layer of paint to dry, I decided to apply a second layer to pop this color and get it even more striking. And that was a good choice. With two layers of varnish this polish covers your nails perfectly, and I like how the color dries very smooth as well. I just love this bright purple shade and I was very happy with the overall result. As the name already says: an Amazing Color!

 



Ik vind het resultaat van de swatches zelf erg mooi, en ik hoop dat ik via dit artikel wat van mijn liefde voor Morgan Taylor heb kunnen overbrengen ;) Deze lak brengt dun aan, maar bedekt je nagels wel perfect! Omdat de lak egaal opdroogt is hij ook heel geschikt voor het maken van nail arts. Op de nieuwe webshop van Morgan Taylor kunnen jullie alle lakjes van het merk vinden. Hierboven kunnen jullie het eerste product bewonderen. Zoals ik in de inleiding al vertelde was Lady Queen zo aardig om me producten op te sturen. Vandaag deel ik deze zwarte nagelstickers met jouw. Dit zijn geen waterdecals maar gewoon stickers. Dat wil zeggen dat ze uit zichzelf al gewoon een plak laag bevatten en dus heel makkelijk aan te brengen zijn. Wel even opletten dat je de sticker niet scheurt als je hem van de transparante folie aftrekt! Maargoed, de eerste impressie van dit product was heel goed. De stickers zagen er eigenlijk net zo goed uit als wanneer je zelf strepen maakt met een zwarte striper. Dit product kan dus een goed alternatief zijn voor mensen die niet zo’n vaste hand hebben.

In dit artikel kunnen jullie ook de nail art zien die ik voor LadyQueen gemaakt heb. Ik besloot twee van mijn nagels een oranje kleur te geven en de andere twee nagels wit te lakken. Vervolgens bracht ik de zwarte nagelstickers op mijn nagels aan. Ik begon met dikke verticale en horizontale strepen en bracht daarna de dunnere lijnen aan om meer details toe te voegen. Ik ben echt een grote fan van dit product. Ik heb veel stickers geprobeerd die niet bleven plakken, of waarvan je gelijk kon zien dat het stickers waren. Deze stickers stellen mij echter niet teleur! Ik ben heel blij dat ik dit product door de samenwerking heb mogen ontdekken.

Vandaag wil ik graag het tweede product van Lady Queen met jullie delen. Vorige week konden jullie al de zwarte nagelstickers bewonderen, en deze keer heb ik een setje met schattige elfenstickers. Dit stickervel bestaat uit bloemenstickers en bevat ook een aantal mooie elfjes. Zo schattig! Ik was echt verliefd op dit setje en er vormde zich gelijk een aantal ideeën voor nieuwe nail arts in mijn hoofd. Ik was dan ook heel enthousiast om een nieuw design te gaan maken met dit product. Ik wilde sowieso de elfjes gebruiken, maar de bloemen wilde ik ook uittesten om deze manicure meer detail te geven.

Today I would like to sharethe second productfrom Lady Queen with you. Last week you could admire the black nail stickers that I have already tested for you guys, and this time I have a set of stickers with cute fairy's for you. This sticker contains a couple of floral stickers andalso contains some beautiful fairies. So cute! Iwas really in love with this set and when I saw these stickers a lot of new ideas for nail arts became to forme in my head, I had so much inspiration. So I was really excited to make a new design with thisproduct. Anyways I wanted to use the fairies, but I wanted to use the flowers as well, in order to add more details to this nail art.
 



Hier kun je de nail art zien die ik voor dit artikel gemaakt heb. Ik begon deze nail art met een zwarte en een oranje/nude achtige basis. Daaroverheen bracht ik op twee van mijn nagels de elfjes aan. Dat ging gemakkelijk, door de stickerlaag was het simpel om de stickers op mijn nagels aan te brengen. Daarna bracht ik op mijn andere nagels de bloemen aan, zodat hier een patroon op ontstond. De kwaliteit van de stickers zijn iets minder dan de zwarte stickers die jullie in het vorige artikel konden zien, maar inmiddels draag ik dit design al een week op mijn nagels en ben ik tot de conclusie gekomen dat ze eigenlijk wel erg goed zijn. Het aanbrengen kost wat tijd, je wilt immers niet dat er bubbels onder de sticker ontstaat, maar uiteindelijk ben ik erg blij met het resultaat van deze manicure!

Here you can see the nail art that I created for this article. I started this nail art with a black and orange / nude-like base. Over that I added the fairy's on two of my nails. That was easy, the sticky layer was very smooth to apply on your nails, I think the quality of this product is great. Then I applied the flowers on my other nails, so in that way I could create a pattern on my nails.The quality of the stickers is slightly less than the black stickers which you could see in my previous article, but now that I wore this design for a week or so on my nails, I have come to the conclusion that they actually are very good and the quality is great. Applying the stickers takes some time, after all, you do not want any bubbles under the sticker, but in the end I'm very happy with the result of this manicure!

~Nail art~ White Swirly Marble manicure!



Vandaag besloot ik het anders te doen dan anders. Weg met de keurig gemaakte nail arts waarvan geen enkel lijntje schuin loopt. Ik besloot me te wagen aan de freehand marble techniek. Door natte nagellak op je nagels te 'swirlen' met een stokje of dottingtool, zou je een mooi effect moeten bereiken. Na het maken van deze nail art twijfelde ik of ik hem wel online moest zetten. Is hij wel mooi genoeg voor op mijn blog, is het geen faler? Ik besloot hem toch te plaatsen, omdat het leuk is om mijn nail art skills te zien veranderen. Waarom dan niet iets nieuws proberen? Niet geschoten is altijd mis, zegt men toch? haha In dit artikel zien jullie het eindresultaat van deze nieuwe nail art.

Today I decided to do something different. I wanted to go for something different than the perfect striped nail arts that I usually make. I decided to start trying the freehand technique marble. By swirling some wet nail polish on your nails with a little stick or dottingtool, you should achieve a nice effect and a stunning manicure. After making this nail art, I doubted whether I had to put it online. Is it good enough for my blog, it is not a failer? I decided to post it anyway, because it's nice to see some changes in my nail art skills. Why not try something new? Nothing tried nothing gained, one would say? haha In this article, you see the end result of these new nail art.





Hierboven kunnen jullie meer foto's van mijn nagels aanschouwen. Ik besloot zoals in de inleiding al gezegd, het marble effect op mijn nagels te maken. Dat deed ik door eerst een donker blauwe basis en een dikke verticale witte lijn op mijn nagels aan te brengen. Ik wachtte niet tot dit gedroogd was, maar pakte een dottingtool met het dunste puntje erbij. Vervolgens probeerde ik een patroon in de nagellak te maken. Het eindresultaat maakte me erg enthousiast! Hoe leuk is dit effect, en hoe simpel is het om in een paar minuten door middel van natte nagellak en je eigen handen een nieuwe manicure te maken! De donkerblauwe lak die ik als basis gebruikte is van Essence en heet No. 22 I love my Blue Jeans. De witte lak is weer mijn alltime favorite van Sinful Colors genaamd: Snow me White.

Above you can see some more pictures of my nails. I decided as already mentioned in the introduction, to start making the marble effect on my nails. I did this by applying first a dark blue base and a thick vertical white line on my nails. I did not wait until this had dried, but picked up a dottingtool with the thinnest tip on it. Then I tried to make a pattern on the wet nail polish. The end result made me very excited! How cute is this effect and how easy it is to make it in just a few minutes by using wet nail polish and your own hands, in that way you can create a new manicure! The dark blue paint that I used as the basis is from Essence and is called No. 22 I love my Blue Jeans. The white paint is again my alltime favorite Sinful Colors called me Snow me White.

 

 

Daarna waren mijn andere twee nagels aan de beurt. Ik besloot te gaan voor een rode basis. Daarover bracht ik simpele gouden steentjes aan. Maar dat vond ik niet genoeg. Ik besloot zwarte stippen aan de steentjes toe te voegen en ook op mijn 'marble' nagels voor dit detail te gaan. De rode lak die ik gebruikte is van: Essence genaamd: Nr. 10 True Love. De zwarte lak die ik gebruikte om stippen te zetten heet No. 144 Black is back en is ook van Essence. Ik ben benieuwd wat jullie van deze techniek vinden. Ik ben van plan in de komende post meer marble manicures met jullie te delen, als het resultaat een beetje redelijk is tenminste haha. After finishing my first two nail it was time for the other two. I decided to go for a red base. I decided to just apply some simple golden rhinestones on my fingertips. But that wasn't enough for me. I decided to add black dots on the stones and also on my 'marble' nails to add more of this detail. The red paint that I used is from: Essence and is called No. 10 True Love. The black paint that I used to put some dots on my nails is also from Essence called: No. 144 Black is Back. I wonder what you think of this technique. Hello all! Today I'm presenting the thirth Challenge of the month of this year with you. Last year this contest was a great success, and this year a large group of nail bloggers joined the group to start working on the challenge. What it means? Each month, the participants will make a nail art around the same theme for you. This month's theme is Animals. Then each blogger shares the photos in a post and you can vote at the end of this article at your favorite manicure of this month's challenge! Last month I was already really surprised, there were certainly many beautiful creations that I discovered. But I've already discovered a lot of new and beautiful nail art designs in this new post as well. But that's not all, starting from last month on a compagny named NailProduct will send each blogger samples to make the manicures with. More details on the sponsorship in this post. Read on for all the details on the theme animals and the photos of the manicure that we have created...
 


Deze maand moesten we dus een nail art maken rondom het thema dieren, en hiervoor kregen alle bloggers een rolletje folie met dierenprint opgestuurd. Ik had al eens eerder met folie gewerkt, maar over het geheel genomen had ik nog niet niet veel ervaring met folie. Daarom had ik in het begin wel moeite om de folie aan te brengen. Gelukkig heb ik het uiteindelijk wel door gekregen. Door middel van een speciale nagellijm kon ik de folie op mijn nagels laten plakken, en net als met een plaktattoo de folie aanbrengen. Het uiteindelijke resultaat vind ik best aardig :) Ik heb nog een aantal horizontale en verticale witte en zwarte lijnen aangebracht en daardoor kon ik de nail art extra detail geven. Maar kijk hier beneden welke mooie nail arts mijn geliefde blog collega's hebben gemaakt!!! Prachtige creaties, stuk voor stuk! Uiteindelijk was ik blij dat ik doorkreeg hoe ik de folie kon aanbrengen. Ik vind de folie die ik ontvangen heb heel gaaf, met verschillende felle kleuren en een dierenprint!


This month, we had to make a nail art around the theme of animals, and this month all the bloggers were sent a package of nail foils by the compagny NailProduct. I had already worked with film before, but on the whole I have not had much experience with foil. That's why I initially had some trouble to make the foils look good on my nails. Luckily I got through it eventually. Through a special nail glue I could apply the foils on my nails and let them stay on my nails just like a fake tattoo. The final result I think looks quite nice :) I have applied a number of horizontal and vertical white and black lines and that could give the nail art some extra details. But look below to the beautiful nail arts my beloved blog colleagues have made this month !!! Beautiful creations, piece by piece! In the end I was glad that I realized how I could apply the foils and make this manicure work. I think the film I received is cool, with  those different bright colors and animal print!

This month the other bloggers have also made some wonderful animal nail arts and I was so excited to see all those lovely new manicures. Take for example the beautiful leopard manicure with animal print details from Malika. It looks so cool! Or the design with the tiger eyes from Petra, really beautiful and also very suitable for this theme. I think it was such a great Idea to start a second season of this chalenge.
