It took some time but today I'm back to share a new Golden Combo post with you! In this thirth GC post I'd like to share one of my favorite polishes of the moment with you, that you can still buy in stores yourself, till this moment! Laten we snel beginnen met de lak die ik voor deze creatie als basis heb gebruikt. Ik stel je voor aan No. 613 Midnight Rendezvous.Een donkerblauwe mystieke kleur van Rimmel London die in fel licht soms wel paars lijkt! Hij bedekt mijn nagels met slechts een laag van de lak en droogt bovendien snel op. Deze lak komt uit de Rita Ora collectie. Hoewel dit een speciale lijn met nagellakjes is, liggen de kleuren op dit moment nog steeds in de winkels! De kruidvat verkoopt ze in ieder geval :) Persoonlijk vind ik deze kleur supermooi en bijzonder. De glans die deze nagellak bevat vind ik ook erg mooi en daarom hoefde ik niet lang na te denken toen ik een donkere basislak voor dit artikel zocht!

So, Let's start with the polish that I used as a base for this manicure. I introduce to you No. 613 Midnight Rendezvous. This Darkblue Color from Rimmel London almost seems to be purple in bright light. It covers my nails with only one coat of the polish and dries also very quickly. This polish is from the Rita Ora collection. Athough this polish is from a limited edition launche, you can still find these polishes in stores till this moment! Personally I think that the color of this shade looks just stunning and so special! The subtl shimmer that this polish contains is very pretty, so it was simple to decide which polish I wanted to use for this manicure.  




Dan nu de glitters die ik voor deze creatie gekozen heb. Een tijdje geleden kwam ik deze topcoat van Catrice genaamd Holo is the new Yolo tegen en ik moest hem echt hebben! Maar je weet hoe dat gaat met sommigen producten, ze belanden onder in je 'nog te testen' kast en na het maken van een aantal foto's bij weinig licht denk je dat hij wel tegen zal vallen. Vandaag besloot ik het echter nog een keer te proberen en zoals je kunt zien geven deze glitters een bijzonder effect aan je nagels. In eerste instantie lijkt de dekking van dit lakje erg goed maar het is toch moeilijk om de holografische details mooi egaal op je nagels aan te brengen. Dat maakt in principe niet uit maar je moet wel oppassen dat je de donkerblauwe kleur niet van je nagels afveegt (zoals ik de eerste keer heb gedaan).
  

And now I'd like to tell you which sparkles I've used to complet this new nail creation. Some time ago I discovered this polish called Holo is the new Yolo in the new collection of Catrice, and I just needed to have it! But you know how it goes with products like this, they remain left in your 'yet to test' box and after a while you realise that you haven't swatched or reviewed it because the light didn't cooperate at the time you wanted to write an article about the product. But today I discovered this shade again and I decided that I wanted to give it a second try. At first side the coverage of this polish isn't dissapointing but when I applied the second coat I saw that it was really hard to divide these Holographic details nice and equally over your nails. And on top of that you have to be really carefull with the drying proces, otherwise your manicure will definitelly chip all over the place!

Conclusie? Zoals jullie wel hebben kunnen lezen vind ik het donker blauwe lakje van Rimmel London super mooi en die zou ik dan ook aan iedereen aanbevelen. De holografische flakes zijn ook mooi maar soms wat grof waardoor het moeite kost om ze mooi egaal aan te brengen. In de verpakking zien deze glitters er supermooi uit, en het uiteindelijke resultaat op je nagels stelt zeker niet teleur maar valt wel een beetje tegen. Ik wist bij de eerste laag die ik van deze topcoat aanbracht niet of ik deze glitters nog een keer zou willen gebruiken maar na het aanbrengen van een tweede laag vond ik deze topcoat toch wel heel mooi. Een terechte gouden combinatie!? Ik weet het niet, als je een glitter topcoat zoekt kan ik nog wel een paar betere producten noemen. Maar deze topcoat is zeker geschikt voor een avond uit, en tovert je nagels om in holografische kunstwerkjes :)


Conclusion? As you could already read I'm very excited about this dark blue shade from Rimmel London that I used as a base for this manicure. I can definitely recommend that polish! The holographic topcoat looks also lovely on my nails but the golden sparkles are a little too big, which makes it hard to apply the topcoat on your nails nice and equally. In the package this polish looks just stunning but when I saw the overall result on my nails I thought this polish hadn't managed to meet my expectations. I didn't know if I wanted to use this topcoat again, but after my nails had dried completely I did like the overall result of this nail creation. Can we call this a Colden Combo? Yes! The formula of both shades doesn't disappoint but if you're looking for a golden glitter topcoat there are a lot of products that have a better quality! But this topcoat is very appropriate for a long night out!

Wat mij betreft is de witte blouse echt een basis item en we konden hem al in verschillende vormen terugzien tijdens de fashion week. In de afbeeldingen hierboven kun je een aantal van mijn favorieten manieren bewonderen waarop ik de witte blouse het liefste draag. Een witte blouse die vanaf de bovenkant helemaal dichtzit kan een elegante touch aan je everyday outfit geven. Maar de meer casual manier om dit item te dragen vind ik ook heel mooi: bijvoorbeeld voor de helft open. Wat ik zo leuk vind aan de witte blouse is dat hij in onze kledingkast zal blijven verschijnen en dat je hem overal mee kunt combineren. Je kunt een witte blouse bijvoorbeeld prima gebruiken voor een meer professionele look maar in het weekend kan hij ook heel casual zijn. Je moet echt overwegen een witte blouse aan te schaffen want wat mij betreft is dit item een must have in iedere kledingkast. :)

I think the white collar blouse is just a basic piece and we could see it in a lot of different versions during the fashion week. You can see some of my favorite ways to style this item in the pictures above. I saw some white collars which were buttoned up all the way for an elegant look. But I also loved the more casual way to style this item: for example half open. What I love about this blouse is that it’s something that will keep appear in our wardrobes throughout the years and will always be staple piece for your closet! You can use the white blouse for the office for a professional look but it can be worn on the weekend as a causal outfit as well. This is a piece that you should definitely consider investing in because the white blouse with a collar is a must have in any closet!
 
 
Na het lezen van wat informatie over deze trend, en na het bekijken van bovenstaande foto's kreeg ik veel nieuwe inspiratie voor een nail art. Voor het maken van deze manicure begon ik met het lakken van mijn nagels in een zwarte kleur. De nagellak die ik gebruikt heb om deze kleur op mijn nagels aan te brengen is van Essence en heet: Nr. 144 Black is back. Toen ik deze nagellak gebruikte zorgde ik ervoor dat een deel van de bovenkant van mijn nagels openbleef waardoor je nog steeds een stukje van mijn natuurlijke nagel kunt zien. Fun fact: een nail art die er zo uitziet als deze heet altijd een Half moon Nail art. Ik wilde al een tijdje zo'n soort nail art als basis voor een nieuwe creatie gebruiken en vandaag was dan eindelijk de perfecte dag om hem te maken.


So after reading some information about this trend, and looking at some wonderful pictures, I got a lot of inspiration for a new manicure. To create this nail art, I started of painting my nails with a basic black nail polish. The polish that I used to apply this black color on my nails is from Essence and is called: No. 144 Black is back. While I was using this black shade I managed to keep the top of my fingernails free from any polish. In that way you can still see a part of my natural nails. Fun fact: a manicure looking like this is called a Half moon nail art. I wanted to use a half moon manicure as a base for a nail art creation for a long time now, and today was finally the perfect time to start creating one myself.



Nadat mijn nagels helemaal gedroogd waren gebruikte ik een wit lakje om de kraagjes aan mijn nagels toe te voegen. De witte lak die ik gebruikte om mijn creatie compleet te maken is van Rimmel London en heet: Nr. 703 White hot love. Ik begon met het maken van de contouren van de witte kraagjes en nadat ik tevreden was met het resultaat heb ik de vormen verder opgevuld en uitgewerkt met de witte nagellak. Op deze manier kon ik mijn nagels nog meer op laten vallen. Toen mijn nagels gedroogd waren twijfelde ik of ik nog iets van gouden steentjes zou toevoegen maar uiteindelijk heb ik het toch hierbij gelaten. Ik ben zo benieuwd wat jullie van het eindresultaat van deze nail art vinden!
 

After my nails had dried completely I used a white polish to add the white collars to my nails. The white shade which I’ve used to complet this manicure is from Rimmel London and is called: Nr. 703 White hot love. I started of painting the contours of this collar shape on my nails and after I was satisfied with the result I filled in the open spots with a lot of white nail polish to let my nails stand out even more. When my nails had dried complely I hesitated if I should add some golden beads or something but I ended up loving the result of this new nail art creation! What do you guys think of this manicure? Ik heb de afgelopen week al mijn favoriete producten op de foto gezet en vandaag kunnen jullie genieten van een extra lange lijst met nagelproducten. Als ik al deze glitters en steentjes onder elkaar zie staan word ik gelijk weer enthousiast om een nieuwe manicure te gaan maken. Glitter






Zoals jullie hierboven wel kunnen zien ben ik echt verslaafd aan het verzamelen van mooie glitters voor op mijn nagels. Hoewel ik ze niet zo vaak voor een creatie gebruik wilde ik toch een paar potjes voor jullie op een rijtje zetten. De meeste gouden glitters zijn van Essence maar er zitten zeker ook producten tussen die ik bij verschillende groothandels online heb gekocht. Favoriet van bovenstaande afbeeldingen zijn de knalroze glitters die ik graag gebruik om mijn creaties net die extra touch te geven! Ook vind ik de gouden vlindertjes erg mooi. Hoewel dit lang niet alle glitters zijn die ik in mijn nagellak collectie heb verzameld, wilde ik in dit artikel toch mijn favorieten met jullie delen!

As you can see above, I'm really addicted to collecting beautiful glitters for my nails. AlthoughI do not use these glitters as often as I'd like them to use, I still wanted to share these products with you. Most of the gold glitters are from Essence, but you can also see a lot of products that I have purchased online. Favorites of the images that you can see in the pictures above are the bright pink glitters that I like to use just to give my creations that extra touch. I also think that the golden butterflies are very pretty. Although I can't share my whole nail art collection with you, in that way this post would be way to long, I did wanted to share some of my favorite products with you!




Fimo Canes





Ze zijn zo schattig die Fimo Canes! Waar je vroeger het hele internet moest afzoeken om een aantal van deze rubberen staafjes te vinden, zijn ze tegenwoordig ook kant en klaar verpakt en ik de winkels te koop. Ik heb mijn zes favorieten figuurtjes verdeelt over een bakje met precies zes gaatjes en hier foto's van gemaakt. Persoonlijk vind ik de citroentjes echt super schattig, maar ook de kikkers zijn leuk. Met welk product willen jullie het liefst een nagelcreatie mee zien? Je kunt gerust een comment onder dit artikel plaatsen met suggesties.

These Fimo Canes look just so cute! Some years ago you could only discoverthese products in various webstores and it was really hard to find any Fimo but nowadays they are also available in a lot of other stores. I have placed my six favorites Fimo Canes figures in a small box with justsix holes in order to make some pictures for you guys. Personally I think the little lemons look really super cute, but the frogs are also fun. Which product do you prefer to see on anail art creation? Rhinestones





 
Mijn nail art collectie bevat verschillende lege nail art wieltjes die je goed kunt vullen met je favoriete glitters en steentjes. Op die manier heb je altijd genoeg ruimte om je decoraties goed op te bergen! De Rhinestones, strass steentjes en Caviar bolletjes die jullie hierboven zien heb ik echt overal en nergens gekocht. BornPrettyStore en Nageldeco zijn zeker goede en betrouwbare webshops waar je terecht kunt voor dit soort producten. Bovendien vallen de prijzen vaak reuze mee. Maar soms kun je bij de Hema of een andere drogist ook setjes met steentjes en andere glitters voor op je nagels kopen. Ik hoop dat jullie het leuk vonden om het eerste deel van mijn nail art collectie te zien. Toen ik dit artikel aan het maken was kwam ik erachter dat het maken en bewerken van mooie foto's me net zo'n groot plezier deed als het uitzoeken van een selectie van mijn favoriete nail art producten.

~Review~ Magnetic Professional Water Decals


Hallo iedereen, vandaag wil ik weer een nieuwe review met jullie delen. Magnetic is een groothandel die gespecialiseerd is in de verkoop van nail products. Het bedrijf is van oorsprong een nagelsalon en veel verschillende salons in Nederland werken met de producten van dit merk. The Magnetic Nail Academy leidde duizenden professionele nagelstylisten op! Vandaag wil ik een product uit de groothandel van dit merk met jullie delen, namelijk deze exotische water decals. De groothandel verkoopt alles dat je nodig hebt om als nagelstylist aan de slag te kunnen maar ook hobby nagelfreaks kunnen hier goed terecht. Hoewel ik al veel over dit merk gehoord had, wist ik toch niet zeker wat ik van de producten kon verwachten. In dit artikel test ik de nagel decals voor jullie uit, maar ik wil ook een swatch van het lakje dat ik als basis gebruikt heb met jullie delen.

The company was originally a nail salon and I know that a lot of different salons in the Netherlands work with this brand as well. The Magnetic Nail Academy has trained thousands of professional nail stylists! Today I wanted to share a product from this brand with you, and I think that these tropical water decals look just so special at first sight. Magnetic sells everything you need to become a professional nail stylist and you can find a lot of amazing products on their website. Although I've heard a lot about Magnetic Í was still not sure what to expect from these nail decals. In this article I'll test some of their nail decals for you and but I also wanted to share a polish from Hema that I used as a base for this manicure with you.
 



Als basis voor deze nail art wilde ik een lichte kleur gebruiken. Hoewel ik verliefd ben op mijn witte nagellak van Sinful Colors was het toch echt tijd om een andere kleur voor jullie uit te testen. Nr. 16van Hema is een matte licht grijze kleur die je nagels met twee lagen goed bedekt. Hoewel het even duurt voordat de lak is opgedroogd vormt deze gladde nagellak een goede basis voor deze manicure. Ik denk dat ik deze lak in het vervolg meer ga gebruiken want op de foto's hierboven ziet hij er super mooi en bijzonder uit!


As a base for this nail art I wanted to use a lighter color. Although I'm in love with my white nail polish from Sinful Colors, I thought this was the right time to start trying something different. Nr. 16from Hemais a matte light gray color that covers all your nails with two layers of the polish. Although it takes a while before the paint has dried, I think this nail polish is very appropriate to use as a base for this manicure. I think I'm going to use this in the future a lot more often because on the pictures above this shade looks just great on my nails.


 

Magnetic Professional Water Decals


In dit artikel wil ik graag dit setje water decals van Magnetic nail cosmetics met jullie delen. Ik heb een tijdje geleden een cursus nagelstyling gevolgd en daar kon ik al kennis maken met de producten van Magnetic. Op de een of andere manier was het er niet van gekomen dit setje voor jullie uit te testen maar gelukkig vond ik toch een gaatje in mijn blogschema om dit artikel online te plaatsen. Dit setje bestaat uit precies 10 nagelstickers. Je hebt dus niet de kans om een nagel over te doen als je een nagel verprutst. Maar al met al zien deze nagelstickers er echt supermooi uit en natuurlijk was ik heel enthousiast om het resultaat van deze manicure te bewonderen.


In this article I'd love to share this set of water decals from Magnetic nail cosmetics with you. I followed a nail styling classe a while ago, and when I visited the salon I came across some products from Magnetics. I'd forgotten to review this set of decals but luckily I came across this lovely looking product when I was cleaning up my nail polish collection. This set contains exactly 10 nail stickers. So if you screw one nail up, you don't have the opportunity to start all over again. But I have to say, these decals look really special and pretty and therefore I was just very excited to see the overall result of this manicure!



How to use these nail decals?Typ tekst of een websiteadres of vertaal een document.



1. Zet een bakje met kamertemperatuur water erbij en haal de doorzichtige folie van de nagelstickers af.


2. Knip de nagelsticker die je wilt gebruiken in de vorm van je nagel of een andere vorm en leg deze voor een paar seconden in het water.

3. Breng een topcoat op je nagels aan terwijl de decal in het water ligt.
4. Plaats de decal op je nog natte nagel en wacht totdat de topcoat een beetje gedroogd is. Vervolgens kun je de decal in de goede vorm knippen of vijlen.

2 Cut the nail decal you want to use in the form of your fingernail or a different shape and place it for a few seconds into the water.

3 Apply a topcoaton your nails while the decal is still in the water.

Hierboven kunnen jullie het resultaat van deze manicure bewonderen. De decals bleven niet supergoed op mijn nagels plakken maar na een extra laagje topcoat zagen de decals er toch goed uit. Zoals jullie kunnen zien heb ik de blauwe decals in zijn geheel op mijn nagels geplakt maar de rode decals heb ik maar deels gebruikt. Ik heb deze week veel positieve reacties op deze manicure gekregen maar zelf had ik er wel iets meer van verwacht. Toch vind ik het uiteindelijke resultaat heel geslaagd. Toen ik later op de site van Magnetic keek zag ik dat deze nail decals nog in veel meer varianten verkrijgbaar zijn. Ik ben zo benieuwd wat jullie van deze decals en het grijze lakje van de Hema vinden.
 
Above you can admire the result of this manicure. The decals were not sticking to my nails super well but after an extra layer of topcoat, the decals still look very good. As you can see I have used the intire blue decals on my nails but for the red water decals I decided that I just wanted to use a little part of the sticker to complet this manicure. This week I have had a lot of positive comments on this manicure but I had expected something more. Still, I think the final result is quite successful. When I looked at the site of Magnetic some days later I saw this nail decals were also available in a lot more variants. I am so curious what you think about the decals and gray nail polish from Hema.

So after reading all those articles, I wanted to make my own autumn post and Nail art as well. I was very excited to read all of your positive comments on my Halloween nail art post this week, so that's why I decided to share another manicure with you. You can click here to read the Halloween post. In this article I'm going to tell you how I created this orange fall inspired manicure and which polishes I've just to make this nail art. I'll also share some swatches from the orange polish from Sinful colors with you. Continue reading for all the details...




Fall is coming! De herfst is inmiddels volledig doorgebroken en vandaag moest ik voor het eerst sinds maanden mijn winterjas weer uit de kast trekken. Mijn warme kleding ligt inmiddels weer in mijn kast en over 2 maanden staan de feestdagen alweer voor de deur. De tijd gaat zo snel. De foto's die hierboven te zien zijn vond ik op Pinterest en ik vond ze zo mooi dat ik ze aan dit artikel wilde toevoegen. Bovendien dienden de foto's ook als inspiratie voor deze nieuwe nail art. Door deze winter licht bruine tinten te combineren met zwart-witte details kun je een echt statement maken. Omdat de mode van grote invloed is op de manier waarop wij onze nagels lakken (en omdat een nieuwe outfit een goed excuus is voor een nieuwe nagelcreatie) deel ik in dit artikel ook een van mijn favoriete herfstkleuren met jullie.


Fall is coming! I noticed that the wetter is becoming colder and the days are also shorter and shorter :) That means that It's finally time to grab my winter coat and a cup of hot chocolate! Winter is my favorite season of the year and in a couple of months I will have my birthday again and the Christmas presents will also be revealed. Time is going way to fast! I found the pictures that you can see above on Pinterest, and I thought they were just so pretty! That's why I wanted to share them with you today. The nail art that I created for this post is inspired on these pictures and although this manicure doesn't completly look the same, I managed to create a nail art that contains some of these details for you guys. Fashion trends have a hugh influence on the way we polish our nails and that's why I also wanted to share one of my favorite shades for fall with you.



Nr. 952 Hazard van Sinful Colors is een fletse oranje tint die er op de foto's lichter uitziet dan hij in werkelijkheid is. Vroeger was ik wat sceptisch over de lakjes van Sinful Colors omdat ze zo goedkoop zijn. Maar nadat de witte nagellak van dit merk me zo goed was bevallen, durfde ik me ook aan deze kleur te wagen. Ik had twee lagen nodig om mijn nagels mooi te bedekken. Voordeel is dat deze lak wel snel en egaal opdroogt. De lak bevat een subtiele glans maar ziet er op je nagels toch vrij matte uit. Deze oranje kleur vormt dus de perfecte basis voor een nieuwe manicure!

No. 952 Hazard from Sinful colors is a light orange shade that looks a little less light on the pictures than it really is. I used to be a sceptic when it came to using Sinful Colors. But although the price of these polishes is so low, I have to say that the quality of their shades isn't disappointing at all. After buying a backup of my new favorite white color from this brand, I decided that I also wanted to try this orange shade. Advantage of this polish is that the color dries real quick on your nails and I only needed two coats to cover all of my nails completely. This polish contains a subtl shimmer and I think this color can be the perfect base for all your nail arts.




Hierboven kun je de foto's van de nail art zien die ik voor dit artikel ontworpen heb. Nadat ik mijn nagels met Hazard oranje had gelakt besloot ik dat het tijd was om details toe te voegen. Hoewel ik me heb laten inspireren door de vormen en kleuren van de herfst wilde ik toch mijn eigen stijl behouden. Freehand nail arts zijn mijn specialiteit en dus is deze nail art ook helemaal gemaakt met een dun penseeltje en mijn eigen handen :) Zoals jullie kunnen zien is deze nail art een combinatie van 2 verschillende designs die ik afwisselend op mijn nagels heb aangebracht. De nail art op mijn middelvinger en pink bestaat enkel uit zwarte nagellak, die ik in horizontale en verticale lijnen op mijn nagels heb aangebracht. De andere nagels bestaan uit veel verschillende oranje, witte & zwarte lijnen die samen een speciaal geheel vormen. Ik ben zo benieuwd wat jullie van deze nieuwe nail art vinden!


On the pictures above you can see the nail art that I created for this article. After painting my nails with the orange polish called Hazard I decided to add some details to this manicure. Although I wanted to be inspired by the pictures in this post to create a new manicure, I also wanted to keep my own style creating this nail art creation. I love making freehand nail arts and this nail art was also created by using some black and white stripers and my hand. As you guys can see I managed to create a nail art that contains two different designs. The nail art on my two of my fingers contains only a simple black polish and some horizontal and vertical lines. On my other nails I decided to go for a manicure that has both black and white details in it. I managed to make some thine lines in three different colors to make this manicure stand out even more. I'm so curious what you guys think of this manicure!
