Ik was super enthousiast over deze opdracht omdat dit de eerste Halloween manicure is die ik op mijn blog plaats. Er vormden zich al vele ideeen in mijn hoofd maar uiteindelijk ben ik toch gegaan voor deze Spiderweb manicure. In dit artikel wil ik meer informatie over de challenge met jullie delen en bovendien meer foto's van de manicures laten zien die de andere bloggers gemaakt hebben. Hello everyone ! It’s time to share another version of our monthly COTM with you and this month me and some other nail art bloggers managed to create some wonderful nail art creations. The theme of this month’s nail challenge was Halloween and I was really surprised with all the scary ideas and manicures the other contestants came up with. In this article I’d like to share my version of the Halloween manicure with you guys and I’ll also tell you more about the idea that lay behind this creation. But I'll offcorse also share the manicures of the other nail bloggers with you. At the end of this post, there’ll be a link which you can use to vote for your favorite manicure. Zoals jullie kunnen zien ben ik deze maand druk bezig geweest met het ontwerpen van een mooie manicure die goed past bij het thema Halloween. Uiteindelijk besloot ik voor deze zwart-witte spider nagelcreatie te gaan. Hoewel ik de nagelcreaties van de anderen super mooi vind, ben ik zelf niet zo van de bloederige nail arts, en dus leek dit me een goede middenweg. Nadat ik mijn nagels afwisselend wit en zwart heb gelakt, bracht ik de details op mijn nagels aan met een striper. De witte lak die ik voor deze manicure heb gebruikt heet: Snow me white en is van Sinful Colors. De zwarte lak is wederom van Essence en heet: Nr. 144 Black is back . Beide lakken bedekken mijn nagels al met een laag van de lak en vormen dus de perfecte basis voor een mooie nail art. Ik ben erg blij met het uiteindelijke resultaat van deze nagelcreatie en ik hoop dat jullie hem ook mooi vinden.
As you guys can see in the pictures above, I was busy creating a manicure that fits the Halloween theme. Finally I decided to go for a black & white spider nail art. Although I think the nail art creations from the other contestants look awnsome, I'm in general not a big fan of those bloody and scary nail art designs, so I managed to come up with my own version of the Halloween manicure. After I painted the base of my nails with a black & white polish, I decided to use my stipers to create a lot of detailing on my nails. The white polish which I've used to create this nail art is from Sinful colors and is called: Snow me white. I've also used a black polish from Essencecalled: No. 144 Black is back. Both of these polish cover my nails with only one coat of the nail polish and I'm very happy with the overall result of this manicure. I hope you guys like it!
Mijn mede nail art kandidaten hebben deze maand ook niet stilgezeten. Ook zij hebben een nail art rondom het thema Halloween gemaakt en op de genummerde foto's in dit artikel kun je het eindresultaat bekijken. Ik heb onder de foto's de namen van de blogs geplaatst zodat jullie hier ook een kijkje kunnen gaan nemen! Deze maand vind ik de manicure van Nail-gloss heel erg mooi geworden maar ook het eindresultaat van de nail art van Brilliantnails mag er zijn. Aan het eind van dit artikel krijgen jullie gelegenheid om te stemmen op jullie favoriete nagelcreatie, en ik ben dan ook heel benieuwd welke van deze nail arts jullie favoriet is!
But ofcorse the other contestants have also managed to create some beautiful manicures. They got also inspiration from the Halloween theme and you can see the complet result of all these nail arts in the pictures above. I’ve placed the names of the bloggers under the pictures and you can use the link to visit their blogs. Personally I think the nail art from Brilliantnails looks wonderful but I’m also a hugh fan of the nail art that Nail Gloss created for us.
