~Nail art~ Piano Manicure!

Hallo lieve lezers, vandaag deel ik weer een nieuwe nail art met jullie. Ja ik weet het, ik maak de laatste tijd super veel zwart/witte designs maar toch kan ik het niet laten om er nog een met jullie te delen. Ik wilde in eerste instantie graag een nail art maken die iets met muziek gerelateerd had. Muzieknoten zijn inmiddels best afgezaagd dus ik besloot voor een geometrischer design te gaan. Misschien zien jullie al wel op de openingsfoto dat deze nail art geïnspireerd is op de toetsen van een piano. Ik wilde de toetsen niet letterlijk namaken, maar door het patroon van zwarte en witte lijnen ontstond er toch een patroon om mijn nagels dat me aan de piano deed denken. Hello dear readers, today I'm sharing a new nail art with you. Yeah I know, I have made a lot black & white designs the past weeks but I just want to keep sharing them with you. I had the intention to make a nail art which is related to music. Musical notes are now quite a trend for you nails so I decided to go for a more geometrical designs. Maybe you can already see that this design is inspired by the piano in the opening picture. I did not literally copy the keys of the piano, but the pattern of black and white lines is still there to give the illusion of music and this instrument. Zie hier de nail art die ik voor deze nail art gemaakt heb. Wat betreft de kleuren die ik gebruikt heb niets nieuws onder de zon. Mijn favoriete zwarte kleur van Essence: No. 144 Black is Back en ook mijn witte lak van Sinful Colors genaamd No. 101 Snow me white mocht voor deze manicure niet ontbreken. Ik zou jullie graag over een aantal nieuwe zwarte en witte lakken op de hoogte brengen maar ik blijf steeds toch weer back-ups van deze twee kleuren inslaan. Ze zijn betaalbaar, van goede kwaliteit en perfect voor nail arts. Ik zal mezelf voortaan toch weer dwingen om ook nail arts met kleuren van andere merken te maken maar ik moet bekennen dat zwart/witte nail arts met deze lakjes toch wel het mooiste effect geven ;)

Here you can see that nail art that I made last week. I didn't use any new shades for this manicure. For this new manicure I used my favorite black color from Essence: No 144 Black is back and also my white shade from Sinful Colors named No. 101 Snow me white. I would like to share some new black and white lacquers with you but I keep buying backups of these two shades. They are just so affordable, good quality and perfect as a base for nail arts. I will still force myself to make some new nail art designs with colors of different brands but I must confess that black / white nail polishes from these two brands will give the best effect.

 

Maar hoe heb ik deze nail art gemaakt? Ik begon deze manicure met het lakken van al mijn nagels met de zwarte kleur. Vervolgens besloot ik voor twee verschillende designs te gaan die het patroon op mijn nagels moeten weergeven. Het piano patroon geeft zo'n leuk effect aan mijn nagels. Echt cool! Nadat de zwarte basis gedroogd was heb ik twee nagels omlijnt met de witte kleur. Vervolgens bracht ik hier een French manicure aan die ik afmaakte door verticale zwarte lijnen toe te voegen. Op mijn andere twee nagels bracht ik witte nagellak heen maar liet ik een paar delen van mijn nagels zwart zodat de zwarte open gaten het effect van een piano kunnen geven. Ik hoop dat jullie deze nail art mooi vinden :)

But how did I make this nail art creation? I started this manicure by painting all my nails with the black color. Then I decided to go for two different designs that should reflect the pattern on my nails. The piano pattern gives such a wonderful effect to my nails. Really cool! After the black base was dried, I was going to outline two of my nails with the white polish. On my other two nails I decided to go for a French manicure and I've added vertical black lines to give them more details. On my other two nails I decided to go for a white pattern that could make the piano pattern come to life. I hope you find this nail art beautiful :)

Nail Wraps Mysterious Starry SkyNight

Het eerste product dat ik van Bornprettystore uit mocht testen waren deze nagelwraps. Hierboven kunnen jullie een overzichtsfoto van het product zien en ook de nail art die ik met dit product gemaakt heb. Ik vond de stickers zo mooi! Ze zijn geïnspireerd op het schilderij van Vincent van Gogh genaamd Starry Night die velen van jullie wel zullen kennen. Van Gogh komt uit Nederland en daarom extra leuk om deze stickers op mijn nagels te hebben! Ik kon niet ophouden met naar deze stickers te kijken! Het aanbrengen van de stickers ging snel en eenvoudig. De stickers bevatten een stevige plak laag. Nadat je de folie van de stickers verwijdert hebt, kun je ze snel op je nagels aanbrengen en het overschot aan sticker wegvijlen. Ik heb nog een topcoat aangebracht om eventuele oneffenheden weg te werken, maar dat was eigenlijk niet eens nodig! Ik ben erg tevreden met dit product en heb de stickers op beide nagels aangebracht en ze een week laten zitten! Ze bleven stevig zitten en daarom zou ik deze stickers aan kunnen bevelen!

 

The first product that I've tested out for Born Pretty Store were these nail wraps. Above you can see an overview of the product and you can also see the nail art I made with this product. I love the stickers, they are so beautiful! They are inspired by the painting of Vincent Van Gogh called Starry Night that many of you will know :) Van Gogh comes from The Netherlands and that's why it was so much fun to have these stickers on my nails! I could not stop watching these stickers! Applying the stickers was quick and easy. These nail wraps contain a really strong sticky layer. After you've removed the film of the stickers, you can quickly apply them on your nails and file of the excess. I have also applied a topcoat to remove any blemishes, but that was not really necessary! I am very pleased with this product and have applied the decals on both hands and let them stay there for a week! They weren't chipping at all and I'd definitely recommend this product.

Het tweede product dat ik voor jullie uittestte was dit vel met kanten stickers. Ik was er gelijk verliefd op toen ik ze op de site zag en kreeg ook al veel inspiratie voor een eventuele nail art. Hierboven kunnen jullie het resultaat bewonderen. De stickers kon ik makkelijk aanbrengen en omdat ze al een plak laag bevatten komt hier dus niks extra's bij kijken. Je kunt je nagels lakken en ze dan gelijk aanbrengen! Ik ben zelf erg tevreden met het eindresultaat en ben benieuwd wat jullie van deze manicure vinden. Als eerste heb ik een laagje zwarte lak aangebracht en heb gewacht totdat die helemaal gedroogd was. Vervolgens verzon ik een manier om de stickers goed tot hun recht te laten komen. Dit vel dat ik gekregen heb bevat veel verschillende motieven zodat je meerder manicures kunt maken en veel kunt afwisselen! De kwaliteit is goed, te goed eigenlijk. Want het is moeilijk om deze stickers van je nagels af te halen. Deze stickers blijven lang zitten, en de gouden kleur geeft een bijzonder effect aan mijn nagels.

The second product that I tested for you, was this sheet with lace stickers. I was in love with them when I saw them on the site and also got a lot of inspiration for new nail arts. Above, you can see the result. I could easily apply the stickers because they contain a strong sticky layer as well. You can paint your nails and make them as difficult or as beautiful as you would like! I'm very pleased with the final result and I am curious what you think of this manicure. First I applied a layer of black polish and waited until that was completely dried. Then I discovered a way to make these stickers stand out on my nails. This sheet which I received contains many different patterns, so you can create multiple manicures, really as many as you would like! The quality is good, really good. But it's difficult to remove these stickers from you nails. These stickers will stay on your nails for at least one week and the gold color gives a special effect to your new manicure.

Hierboven kunnen jullie de nail art zien die ik in dit artikel met jullie wil delen. Als basis voor deze nail art heb ik een metallic kleur van Catrice genaamd No. 840 Genius in the bottle. Een mooie groen/bruine metallic kleur die al best lang in het vaste assortiment van Catrice te vinden is. De dekking is niet super, ik had 3 lagen nodig om mijn nagels te bedekken. Maar omdat ik geen andere soortgelijke kleur in mijn nagellakcollectie heb, moest ik deze lak toch gebruiken. Ook heb ik voor deze manicure een witte nagellak van Sinful Colors genaamd No. 101 Snow me Whitegebruikt. Deze lak is en blijft mijn favoriet als het om budget witte kleuren gaat. Hij bedekt mijn nagels met een laag en droogt zo snel op! Hieronder kunnen jullie lezen hoe ik deze manicure precies gemaakt heb.

Above, you can see the nail art that I wanted to share in this articlewith you. As a base for this nail art I have used a metallic color from Catricecalled No. 840Genius in the bottle. A beautiful green /brown metallic colorwhich has already been part of the collection from Catrice for a long time now. The coverage is not that great, I had to use 3 layers tocover my nails. But since I have no similar colorin my nail polish collection, I had to use this nail polish. I've also used a white nail polish Sinful Colors named No. 101 Snow White for this new nail art design. This coating is and remains my favorite when it comes to budget white colors. It covered my nails with one coat and dries just soquickly! Below you can read how I made this manicure..

De kleur droogde langzaam op, maar het resultaat vond ik wel mooi. Toch deze basis gedroogd was bracht ik op de uiteinden van mijn nagels een witte French manicure aan. Maar ik wilde nog meer details aan mijn nagels toevoegen. Ik zag dat ik nog een stickervel van BornPrettyStore in huis had. Een paar weken geleden mocht ik een aantal van hun producten reviewen en deze zwarte stickers waren onderdeel van de samenwerking. Ik heb ze korter geknipt en op mijn nagels aangebracht. Om ze echt goed te laten zitten heb ik nog een laag van de topcoat aangebracht. Ik ben heel benieuwd wat jullie van deze nail art vinden. Bedankt voor het lezen van dit artikel!

How I made this nail art? First I applied a number of layers of the metallic color that forms a basis on my nails for this manicure. The color slowly dried, but the result I think looks great.However, when this basis was dried I decided to apply a white French manicure at the tips of my nails. But I still wanted to add more details to my nails. I saw that I still had some stickers from Born Pretty Store in my house. A few weeks ago I reviewed a number of their products and these black stickerswere part of the collaboration. I've made themshorter before applying them on my nails. Hallo allemaal! Daar ben ik weer! Na de laatste COTM Challenge heb ik weer volop zin gekregen om posts te gaan schrijven. De afgelopen weken was ik druk met het leren van examens, maar als deze post vandaag online komt heb ik mijn laatste examen gehad. Ik hoop dat alles dan goed is gegaan :) Tijdens het leren had ik geen tijd om vooruit te werken, maar heb ik wel zo vaak mogelijk geprobeerd iets op mijn blog te plaatsen. Ik was stiekem wel een beetje bang dat sommige niet meer naar mijn blog zouden terugkeren maar het doet me goed om te zien dat al mijn volgers er nog steeds zijn. Hello everyone! Here I am again! After the last COTM Challenge I got really looking forward to start writing posts again. The past few weeks I was busy with learning exams, but as this post goes online today I had my last exam. I hope that everything went well :) While learning I had no time to work ahead, but I tried to post something as often as possible to keep my blog running. I was secretly a little worried that someone would no longer return to my blog but it is so nice to see that all my followers are still there. Today I'll share a new nail art with you. Hierboven zien jullie de nail art die ik voor vandaag met jullie wil delen. Ik ben er zelf eigenlijk best wel tevreden mee. Voor deze creatie heb ik slechts twee lakjes gebruikt. De zwarte kleur is van Essence en heet: No. 144 Black is back. De blauwe kleur is ook van Essence maar komt uit een limited edition collectie genaamd Wave Goddess en heet: No. 03 have a break. Ik heb deze collectie een tijd geleden op mijn blog gereviewed en was erg enthousiast over de kleuren. Soms zijn ze wat moeilijk om te fotograferen maar dat mocht de pret van deze manicure niet bederven :) De zwarte kleur van Essence is echt mijn favoriete zwarte nagellak ever. Hij dekt met 1 laag, en bevat een prachtige glans. Hieronder kunnen jullie lezen hoe ik deze nail art gemaakt heb.

Above you can see the nail art that I want to share with you today. I am actually quite satisfied with the result of this manicure. For this creation I used only two polishes. The black color is from Essence and is called: No. 144 Black is back. The blue color is also from Essence but comes from a limited edition collection called Wave Goddess and is called: No. 03 Have a break. I have reviewed this collection a long time ago on my blog and was very enthusiastic about the colors. Sometimes they are somewhat difficult to photograph but that did not spoil the fun of this manicure :) The black color from Essence is really my favorite black nail polish ever. It covers with just 1 layer, and includes a beautiful shine. Hoe heb ik deze manicure gemaakt? Ik begon deze nail art door twee van mijn nagels zwart en twee van mijn nagels blauw te lakken. Vervolgens begon ik met het lakken van driehoekjes aan de bovenkant van mijn nagels. Het was best moeilijk om de lijnen goed strak te krijgen, maar een topcoat zorgte ervoor dat alles goed kon inblenden. Toen de basis gedroogd was, bracht ik een aantal horizontale en verticale lijnen aan die het tribal effect aan mijn nagels moeten geven. Ik merk dat ik het steeds leuker vind om abstracte nail arts te maken. Je eigen creativiteit gebruiken om iets nieuws te bedenken doet me nog steeds veel plezier. Nu de zomer komt krijg ik weer volop inspiratie voor meer zomerse creaties! Bedankt voor het lezen van deze post!

How did I manage to made this manicure? I started this nail art by painting two of my nails black and two of my nails blue with the polishes. Then I started painting the triangles at the top of my nails. It was quite difficult to get the lines tight, but a topcoat made sure that everything could stay in place. When the base was dried, I applied a number of horizontal and vertical lines that should add the tribal effect to my nails. I find it Always so much fun to make more of the abstract freehand kind of nails. Use your own creativity to invent something new, is Always very fun for me. COTM: Flower ~Vote for your favorite mani!

I was very surprised by all the different new nail art creations that my fellow bloggers came up with! There are really a lot of ways, to create a beautiful and simple flower nail art. I'm a little sad cause this is our last COTM and I got to know so many talented blogger through this challenge. Curious what the result will be? Hierboven kunnen jullie een aantal afbeeldingen zien van de creatie de ik voor deze laatste COTM gemaakt heb. Ik vind het echt heel jammer dat dit de laatste challenge van dit jaar was, want ik vond het zo leuk om nieuwe creaties te bedenken. Deze maand maakten wij creaties rondom het thema: Flower. De nail art die ik gemaakt heb bestaat uit twee delen. De ene helft van mijn nagels heb ik rood gelakt. Daarop heb ik lichtroze details aangebracht. Toen mijn nagels gedroogd waren bracht ik een topcoat aan en besloot wat Fimo-bloemetjes toe te voegen! De andere helft van mijn nagels hebben een lichtblauwe basis. Daarna het ik een wit kant achtig patroontje op mijn nagels gemaakt, dat me ook wel ergens aan bloemblaadjes doet denken! Ik ben heel benieuwd wat jullie van mijn creatie vinden en hier beneden kunnen jullie alle prachtige creaties van de andere deelnemers bewonderen!

 

Above you can see some pictures of the creation I made this for this last COTM. Ithink it's really unfortunate that this was the last challenge this year, because I loved it so much and it was so much fun to come up with new creations for this challenge. This month we made creationson the theme: Flower. The nail art that I created consists of two parts. One half of my nails, I paintedred. Then I madelight pink details. When I saw that my nails were dried I'veadded a topcoat and decided to add some Fimo flowers! The other half of my nails have a light blue base. After that I made a white lacy pattern on my nails, which sometimes makesme think of something like flower petals! I'm very curious what you think ofmy creation and down here you can admire all the wonderful creations of the other participants!

Hoewel een aantal nail art ontwerpen wel in de lijn der verwachtingen lagen, vind ik het toch heel leuk om te zien dat iedereen toch zijn eigen draai aan de eigen nail art heeft gegeven. Ook heel gaaf om te zien dat je zoveel verschillende nagel creaties rondom hetzelfde thema kunt maken. Mijn favorieten manicures deze maand zijn de rozen nail art van Inf-nails, die vind ik echt prachtig! Maar ook de vrolijke nail art van Lovewithessie vind ik mooi! Ik ben benieuwd wat jullie favoriet deze maand is, en hieronder kun je zoals elke maand weer stemmen op de mooiste creatie!

 

But my fellow bloggers have also been very creative while making new flower manicures this month. And as always: I'm so surprised with the final result. Very cool to see that you can make so many different nail arts around the game theme. My favorites this month are the cute rose manicure from Inf-nails but I love the up manicure from Lovewithessie as well :) I love how my manicure turned out to be but I think the nail arts that the other bloggers made look really beautiful as well! I'm curious to hear what's your favorite manicure and below you can vote for the most beautiful creation!
