Hallo allemaal, jeeeej vandaag weer een nieuwe post. Ik maakte van de week mijn nieuwe nail art voor de challenge of the month en was in mijn stash aan het zoeken naar mijn favoriete zwarte en witte kleuren. Ik kon niet kiezen en besloot dat het hoog tijd werd om een selectie van mijn favorieten met jullie te delen. Ik heb van zowel de zwarte als de witte kleur twee kleuren uitgezocht om met jullie te delen. In dit artikel kunnen jullie de swatches zien en hopelijk kan ik jullie hiermee een beetje inspireren omdat ik toch vaak de vraag langs zie komen welke zwart/witte kleuren ik zou aanbevelen. This week I took the time to make my new nail art for the challenge of the month and I was looking in my stash, searching for my favorite black and white colors to use.I could not choose and decided it was the right time to share a selection of my favorite colors with you. In dit artikel kunnen jullie de kleuren zien die wat mij betreft tot de beste zwart/witte lakjes behoren. Het gekke is dat de beste kleuren wat betreft zwart/wit vaak van de goedkopere merken afkomstig zijn. Alle lakken die je in de artikel ziet hadden een geweldige dekking. Dan praat ik over maximaal twee dunne laagjes lak, en ook drogen ze allemaal snel op. Dat maakt deze lakjes perfect voor nail arts en andere nagelcreaties. Wat betreft de zwarte kleuren vind ik het wel mooi dat deze glans bevatten, maar de perfecte zwarte matte kleur heb ik nog niet gevonden. De witte lak van Sinful Colors gebruik ik zowat voor al mijn nail arts en zal jullie zeker bekend voorkomen J Ik vind het geweldig om met zwart/witte kleuren te werken, in combinatie met felle kleuren maar ook gewoon voor een geometrisch patroon. Ik ben benieuwd of jullie deze kleuren ook veel gebruiken. J

In this article you can see the colorsthat are in my opinion the best black /white polishes. The strange thing is that the best colorsregarding black / white are often from the more cheaper brands! All the paints that you can see in thisarticle have a great coverage. I am talking abouta maximum of two thin layers of polish, and they dryquick as well. That makes them perfect for nail arts andother nail creations. As for the blacks, I think it's great that they contain a lot of shine, but the perfect black matte color I have not found yet. I use the white paint fromSinful Colors for almost all my nail arts and I like to use him in combination with brighter colors as well. I wonder ifyou love using black and white polishes J

Ik liet me inspireren door een simpele hartjes vorm, maar uiteindelijk werd het toch weer een geheel van lijnen dat er toch gewoon mooi uitziet J Goh dat heb ik de laatste tijd steeds vaker. Hoe heb ik deze nail art gemaakt? Hieronder kunnen jullie zien dat ik twee kleuren voor deze manicure heb gebruikt. Een rode lak en een witte basis. Deze nail art is heel makkelijk te maken. Je hebt eigenlijk alleen twee kleuren naar keuze en een goede striper nodig. Eerst bracht ik de witte basis op mijn nagels aan en die liet ik goed drogen. Vervolgens maakte ik rode hartjes op mijn nagels die ik weer opnieuw omlijnde. Daarna trok ik nog een verticale rode lijn. Ik wilde nog meer kleuren toevoegen, maar was zo tevreden met het resultaat dat ik hem maar iets minimalistischer heb gehouden.

How did I make this nail art? Below you can see that I have used two colors for thismanicure. A red nail polish and a white base. This nail art is very easy to make yourself. You actually only need two colors to choose from and need a goodstriper. First I tookthe white base for my nails and I let thisdry properly. Then I made red hearts on my nails that I again defined. Then I drewa vertical red line. I wanted to addmore colors, but was so pleased with the results that I decided to leave it like this J

Hoi allemaal, vandaag deel ik weer een nieuwe nail art met jullie! De afgelopen week is het echt winter geworden, en dat kon je merken! Het hield maar niet op met regenen en uiteindelijk moest ik toch echt in de regen naar buiten om foto’s te maken. Daarom kan het zijn dat je af en toe een regendruppel op mijn nagels ziet. Voor deze nail art heb ik twee kleuren gebruikt, die je hier beneden kunt zien. Een lichtbruine lak en een matte donker blauwe kleur. Op twee van mijn nagels bracht ik de bruine basis aan en mijn andere nagels lakte ik blauw. Toen de basis gedroogd was, bracht ik de details met een striper op mijn nagels aan. Ik omlijnde mijn nagels, maakte een aantal lijnen en uiteindelijk was ik tevreden met het resultaat. Deze nail art deed me op een bepaalde manier wel aan een glas en lood raam denken, maar aan de andere kant ook weer helemaal niet. Wat vinden jullie van deze manicure?

For this nail art, I have used two colors, which you can see below. A light brown lacquer and matte dark blue color. On two of my nails I put the brown base and my other nails have got a blue base. When the base had dried, I put in the details with a striper on my nails. I outlined my nails, made a number of lines and finally I was satisfied with the result. This nail art made me a certain way or think of a stained glass window, but on the other hand also not at all. What do you think of this new manicure?

Hallo allemaal! Vandaag weer een update op mijn blog. Het was deze week erg spannend. Examenuitslagen, meelopen bij een opleiding en tussendoor natuurlijk ook nog tijd voor het maken van een mooie nail art. Vandaag deel ik weer een nieuwe manicure met jullie! Ik werd geïnspireerd door de vorm van een diamant, of ander kristal en heb daar mijn eigen draai aan gegeven. Ik begon met het aanbrengen van de blauwe lijnen en langzaam maar zeker vormde zich een geometrisch patroon op mijn nagels. Over het resultaat ben ik erg enthousiast. Deze nail art bevat maar drie kleuren. Ik begon met een witte lak, die ik als basis aanbracht. Daarna begon ik met een aantal blauwe diagonale lijnen, die ik in verschillende breedtes en lengtes aanzette. Vervolgens vulde ik de lege ruimtes op met zwarte lijnen, zodat er extra dimensie in het patroon ontstaat. Aan het begin van deze nail art besloot ik gewoon te beginnen met het lakken van verschillende lijnen en blokjes, en uiteindelijk deed de nail art me veel aan de vorm van een diamant denken. Zeker nu ik mijn nagels wat korter geknipt heb, geeft dit een leuk effect

Hallo lieve lezers, daar ben ik weer! Deze week was het wat stiller dan normaal op mijn blog omdat ik examenweek had op school. Mijn eerste examenweek was het niet, maar wel de eerste van het examenjaar. En dat is best even spannend. Gelukkig is alles goed gegaan! Nu de cijfers nog afwachten en de stress van me af laten glijden :) Ik heb daarnet ook een post online gezet over mijn verandering in het bloggen, als je die wilt lezen zou ik dat zeker waarderen. Daarin vertelde ik dat ik het roer om ga gooien en meer kleine post wil plaatsen over eigen gemaakte nail arts die me echt blij maken en anderen kunnen inspireren! Op die manier kan er meer aandacht naar het maken van nai arts gaan, en kan ik vaker snelle nail arts online zetten. Vandaag deel ik deze leuke nieuwe nail art met jullie. Hoe heb ik deze nail art gemaakt. Voor deze manicure begon ik met een basis van rode en blauwe nagellak. Toen de basis gedroogd was bracht ik op twee van mijn nagels witte kant details aan, die ik goed liet opdrogen. Voor het patroon het ik een striper gebruikt. Ik heb het patroon in verticale richting gemaakt. Op de blauwe nagels bracht ik nagellstickers aan. De afgelopen maanden heb ik voor een aantal bedrijven nagel producten gereviewed en daar hoorde deze leuke stickers ook bij. Zo zonde on ze vervolgens in de kast te laten liggen. Daarom vindt je ze terug in deze nail art. Hieronder kunnen julie zien welke kleuren ik voor deze manicure gebruikt heb.

How did I make this nail art? For this manicure, I started with a base of red and blue nail polish. When the base was dried, I painted the lace details on two of my nails, which I left to dry properly. The pattern I made using a striper. I made the pattern vertically. On the blue nails I applied the flower stickers. In the recent months, I have reviewed a lot of nail products for company’s and these little cute stickers were also part of that. It is such a shame not to use them after writing a review. That's why you find them in this nail art. Below you can find which colors I used for this manicure!

~Update~ Little Change in Blogging! ;)

Hallo allemaal! Ik heb mijn eerste examens overleefd! Jeeeej, nu nog de uitslag afwachten, maar het zal vast wel goedkomen. Ik was daarnet een post aan het typen en merkte dat ik tijdens het schrijven afdwaalde naar wat ik allemaal wil bereiken met mijn blog. Ik besloot dat het goed was om nu het roer om te gooien en een post te maken met dingen die goed gaan, dingen die beter kunnen en hoe ik die ga veranderen. Ik moet mijn faalangst loslaten en kiezen voor de dingen die ik echt leuk vind aan het bloggen! Een iets andere post dan normaal dus, maar hopelijk willen jullie hem toch lezen. Bedankt alvast en respect voor de mensen die het einde van dit artikel halen :)

Hello everyone! I survived my first exams! I think it went very well after all, but it is waiting for the results. I was just typing a post and found myself thinking while writing about what I wanted to achieve with my blogging experience. I decided that it was is now the perfect time for some change. I want to focus on the good things about blogging and let go of the fear and the bad things. A slightly different post than normal, but hopefully you still want to read it :) Thanks in advance and respect for the people who reach the end of this article :)

Tijdens de examenweek heb ik nagedacht over mijn blog. Nee rustig, dit wordt geen dramatisch verhaal waarin ik zeg op te houden met bloggen. Wel dacht ik na over de functie van mijn blog. Ik merk dat lange artikelen steeds minder gelezen worden, hoe jammer ik dat ook vind :( Reviews met 6 lakken erin, die tot in detail besproken worden, krijgen dezelfde response als een klein artikel over 1 lakje. Erger nog, een klein artikel met een duidelijke opbouw krijgt vaak zelfs meer aandacht. Ik snap dat ook wel. We leven tegenwoordig in een maatschappij waar het nieuws in hapklare brokjes geserveerd wordt. Lange artikelen halen het niet meer, want mensen willen in een hoog tempo veel nieuwe dingen zien, waar ze over kunnen vertellen, en een lang artikel over een lakje heeft daarbij in hun ogen een lagere functie. Ik vind het zelf heerlijk om lange posts te schrijven, maar wanneer daar geen response op komt, is dat moeilijker vol te houden. Het wordt dan steeds moeilijker om die lange artikel vol te houden. Daarom heb ik het geaccepteerd. De wereld veranderd, het internet verandert, en ik verander mee!

During exam week, I thought about my blog. No stay quiet, this is not a dramatic story where I tell you that I'll stop blogging. Well, I thought about the function of my blog. I notice that long articles are read less and less, and I think that is very unfortunate :( Reviews with 6 paints in it, which are discussed in detail, get the same response as a small article about one polish. And it gets even worse, a small article with a clear structure often receives even more attention. I understand that too. We live in a society where the news is served in bite-sized chunks. Long articles will not make it anymore, because people want to see a lot of new things at a high speed, so they can have a lot to tell about, and a long article about one single polish is in their eyes in a lower position. I think it's wonderful to write long posts, but if there is no response, it's very difficult to get going. It then becomes increasingly difficult to keep a long article. Therefore I accepted it. The world has changed, the internet is changing, and I will also change, but the way I like it!

Voortaan wil ik kleinere artikelen gaan schrijven. Ik wil terug naar de bron, terug naar de kern waarvoor deze blog bedoelt is. Het delen van mijn creativiteit, het inspireren van anderen met mijn nail arts en het maken van dingen die ik leuk vind, zonder aan de verwachtingen te willen voldoen. Daarom wil ik geen artikelen meer met lange teksten, die puur geschreven zijn omdat dat nu eenmaal zo hoort! Ik wil posts met veel en duidelijke foto's van nail arts of andere leuke dingen die mij vrolijk maken en andere kunnen inspireren. Ik wil me geen zorgen meer maken over het aantal comments dat een artikel krijgt, twijfelen over of het goed gaat vallen bij het grote publiek. Ik wil dingen delen waar ik zelf ook blij van wordt. Kleinere posts dus, maar wel met dezelfde nail arts, meer kleurenfoto's en onderwerpen waar ik energie uithaal, inplaats van energie in moet stoppen die ik niet terugkrijg. haha oke tot zo ver mijn korte update! Ook mijn volgende nail art staat bij deze online! Ik ben heel erg dankbaar voor alle mensen die vanaf het begin aan mijn blog zijn blijven hangen, en nog steeds alles lezen! Bedankt! Jullie maken mijn wereld iedere dag beter ;) Op naar de volgende post en hopen dat er nog veel mogen volgen!
