Hallo allemaal! Ik ben heel enthousiast om vandaag met jullie deze nieuwe post te delen. Jeeej, ik ben terug van mijn vakanties en zit vandaag alle foto's te bekijken. Er zaten een aantal hele leuke vakantie kiekjes tussen en die wil ik in dit artikel graag met jullie delen. Deze zomer ben ik in totaal drie weken op vakantie geweest. Twee weken naar Brabant, dus gewoon in Nederland en zeven dagen naar Parijs. Ik ben heel benieuwd wat jullie deze zomer hebben gedaan, dus voel je vrij om dat in de comments met mij te delen. Ik ben benieuwd! Over een paar dagen begint school voor mij weer, dus ik heb nog even de tijd om op deze zomer terug te kijken. Kijken jullie met mij mee? Hello guys! I am very excited to share this vacation post with you today. Jeeej, I'm back from my holidays and today is all about viewing the photos that I have made during my vacation. There were some really nice snaps between all the photos that I took and I want to share those in today's article. This summer I have been on holiday for about three weeks. Two weeks to Brabant, it's a part of the Netherlands and seven days to Paris. I am very curious what you did this summer, so feel free to share your experiences with me in the comments. I'm curious! The Netherlands

Het eerste deel van mijn vakantie bracht ik door in Brabant. Ik bleef de eerste twee weken dus gewoon in Nederland maar dat nam niet weg dat ik tijdens deze vakantie wel een echt vakantiegevoel kreeg. Hierboven kunnen jullie een aantal foto's zien. In de weken dat ik in Brabant was, was er in Tilburg de bekende Tilburgse kermis. Dit is een enorme kermis, de grootste van de Benelux volgens mij :) Hoewel ik eigenlijk best wel een angsthaas ben was het toch leuk om foto's van de attracties te maken. Ook ben ik tijdens deze vakantie tot rust gekomen in het bos, vlakbij ons huisje bevond zich namelijk een groot landgoed. En op de laatste foto kunnen jullie zien dat ik een bezoek bracht aan Tilburg, echt een geweldige stad!

The first part of my vacation I spent in Brabant. I spent the first two weeks in this part of the Netherlands but the fact that I stayed in my home country did not make me lose the summer vibe. Above you can see some pictures I made. In the weeks that I was in Brabant, there was this famous fair in Tilburg. This is a huge carnival, the largest in the Benelux to me :) Although I'm actually quite a coward, it was still fun to take some pictures of the attractions. Also, I was able to relax during this vacation, in the woods near our house because there was a large estate over there. And on the last picture you can see that I visited the city Tilburg, really a great place to go to :)

Kortom, de vakantie in Brabant heeft mij dus echt goed gedaan. Ik heb veel gewandeld, gefietst en ben een paar keer naar een museum geweest. Ook kan je in deze provincie prima een dagje uit, want met steden als Eindhoven, Den Bosch en Tilburg hoefde ik me niet te vervelen. Hierboven zien jullie nog een aantal foto's van de natuur en een kermis attractie waar ik wel in durfde :) De foto linksonder is gemaakt op de Flaestoren, een uitkijkpunt in het bos waarbij wij verbleven. Als je bovenop de toren stond kon je heel ver de natuur in kijken.

Overall, the vacation in Brabant has given me that summer feeling I was looking for. I did a lot of hiking, cycling, and have been to a museums as well. You can also visit a lot of cities in this area, because with cities such as Eindhoven, Den Bosch and Tilburg I did not have to get bored. Above you can see a number of pictures of nature and a fair attraction that I have overcame :) The picture below was taken at the Flaestower, a lookout point in the forest where we stayed. If you stood above on the tower could really look for into the Woods.

Paris

Na Brabant ben ik nog zeven dagen naar Parijs geweest met de Thalys. Dit was een super drukke en hektische vakantie, maar al met al heb ik het erg naar mijn zin gehad. Door alle andere toeristen had je wel het gevoel dat je dingen bezocht die al miljoenen mensen voor je ook bezocht hebben maar ach, dat maakt het ook wel weer leuk. Van die Cliche foto's nemen onder de Eiffeltoren, en monumenten bezoeken die iedereen al honderd keer gezien heeft. Maar we bezochten ook minder bekende attracties. Zo gingen we naar het park La Villete, waar zich een groot Science centrum en een Omniversum achtige bioscoop bevind. We gingen ook naar La Defense waar je in de zomer heerlijk kunt genieten van een hapje en een drankje en waar overal kunstwerken te vinden zijn. Verder bezochten we het Louvre, de Notre Dame, en liepen we door Montmartre. Een drukke en leuke vakantie!

After Brabant I also went seven days to Paris with the Thalys train. This was a super busy and hectic holiday, but all in all I had a great time there. Because of all the other tourists I did have the feeling that the things I was visiting had already been taken a look at by so many people but oh well, that makes it also fun. Taking those pictures under the Eiffel Tower, and visit the monuments that have been visited by anyone for at least a million times. :) But we also visited less known attractions. For example we went to the park La Vilette, where a large science center and a 180 degree cinema are located. We also went to La Defense where you can enjoy a snack and a drink and here you can also find a lot of interesting artworks during the summer. But we have also visited the Louvre, Notre Dame, and we walked through Montmartre. A busy and fun vacation!
