Deze week doorzocht ik mijn nagellakcollectie want ik was opzoek naar een aantal mooie zomerse kleurtjes om voor jullie te swatchen. Ik ontdekte dat ik nog drie oudere Catrice lakken had liggen en vandaag is het dan eindelijk zover, ik ga ze voor jullie reviewen! Ik vind de felle kleuren van deze lakjes echt prachtig en ze zijn dan ook heel geschikt voor dit seizoen! Hello everyone, today I'd like to share a whole new review with you guys. This week I searched through my nail polish collection looking for some beautiful shades to show you. I discovered that I had some older Catrice bottles that I wanted to share with you and today It's the right day to start reviewing them for you guys! I love the bright colors of these polishes and therefore I think that they are perfect for this season. Het eerste lakje van Catrice dat ik met jullie wil delen is deze gele tint genaamd Nr. 500 Birdy Reloaded. Deze felle kleur bedekt mijn nagels met twee dikke lagen en droogt bovendien in minder dan tien minuten op. Ik vind de kleur van deze nagellak erg bijzonder en ik denk dat hij heel mooi kan staan in combinatie met je shorts en een fel t-shirt. Deze nagellak is bovendien perfect om op je nagels te dragen gedurende het festival seizoen! Hoewel de dekking van deze nagellak niet perfect is, laat de kleur dus niet veel te wensen over. In het flesje lijkt deze lak kleur bijna pastel geel maar op je nagels wordt hij heel fel en nijgt deze kleur zelfs naar neon!
The first polish that I really wanted to show you guys is this yellow shade from Catrice called No. 500 Birdy Reloaded. This bright yellow nail polish covers my nail with two big coats, and the drying time was less than ten minutes. I think this shade is really special and you can combine this color with for example your shorts or a bright t-shirt. This polish is also perfect to wear on your nails during the festival season. Although the coverage of this polish isn’t perfect, I was really impressed with the color of this shade. In the bottle it looks like a pastel yellow shade but on your nails it’s just one bright pop of color!
Maar helaas viel de dekking van de tweede nagellak wel tegen. Nr. 02 For Bright Guys bedekt mijn nagels pas na drie dikke lagen. Ik vind de kleur van deze nagellak wel mooi en exotisch J maar ik ben niet zo tevreden met de kwaliteit van dit lakje. Doordat ik zoveel lagen nodig had om mijn nagels goed te bedekken, zien ze er niet meer mooi uit. Deze nagellak heeft mijn verwachtingen dan ook niet waargemaakt. De dekking laat te wensen over maar de kleur van deze lak vind ik wel weer appart. Hoewel deze nagellak goed te combineren is met je neon kleurige slippers op het strand zou ik hem zelf niet naar school dragen.
But the coverage of the second polish wasn’t what I expected at all. No. 02 For Bright Guys covers my nails with three coats. I think the color of this nail polish looks very pretty and exotic but I’m not satisfied with the quality of this shade. My nails looked just one big mess and unfortunately this polish wasn’t able to meet my expectations. The nail polish is very sheer but I do like the color of this summer shade. This shade is perfect to combine with your neon flipflops during a pool party but I’d not wear this color on my nails to school or something.
Gelukkig zag het derde lakje genaamd Nr. 020 Man, go tango er wel weer goed uit. Deze lak bedekt je nagels met twee dunne laagjes en droogt ook weer erg snel op. Op de foto’s ziet deze kleur er iets roder uit dan hij in werkelijkheid is maar alsnog kan deze lak je nagels een hele verzorgde en klassieke look geven. Ik vind de kleur van deze lak dan ook super mooi. Omdat de lak zo mooi opdroogt vormt hij bovendien een geschikte basis voor nieuwe nagelcreaties. And now, my final verdict :) Deze lakjes bleven 3/4 dagen mooi op mijn nagels zitten maar begonnen daarna toch echt te chippen. De kleuren van deze lakken spreken me aan, maar de kwaliteit liet soms toch echt te wensen over. Ik ben erg nieuwsgierig wat jullie van deze lakjes vinden...
Fortunatly, the third polish called No. 020 Man, go tango looked really beautiful! This last polish covered my nails with two thin coats and dryed real quick. In the pictures above this bright orange polish looks more like a red shade but I do think that this polish can give your nails a really pretty and classic look. I love the color of this nail polish! Because this shade dries so quickly, I think you can create some lovely new nail art creations with it. But now, my final verdict ;) These polishes stayed on my nails for 3 to 4 days. I love the exotic shades of these polishes but the quality is sometimes not as great as it should be. I'm so curious what you guys think of these nail polishes...
