Tot nu toe is de maandelijkse challenge een groot succes, en ik ben ook deze maand weer verrast door alle mooie creaties die de andere bloggers gemaakt hebben. In dit artikel deel ik allereerst mijn ombre nail art met jullie, en vertel ik meer over het idee van deze manicure. Ik laat jullie natuurlijk ook de nagelcreaties van de andere deelnemers zien. Hello everyone ! It’s finally time for the third version of our COTM and this month me and some other nail art bloggers managed to create some beautiful nail art creations. The theme of this month’s challenge was Ombre or Watermarble and I was really surprised with all the lovely ideas and manicures the other contestants came up with. In this article I’d like to share my version of the ombre manicure with you guys and I’ll also tell you more about the idea that lay behind this creation. But I'll offcorse also share the manicures of the other nail bloggers with you. At the end of this post, there’ll be a link which you can use to vote for your favorite manicure. Zoals ik in de inleiding al geschreven heb was het thema van deze maand Ombre of Watermarble, en uiteindelijk besloot ik een Ombre nail art voor jullie te creëren. Ik heb zelf nog niet veel ervaring met de watermarble techniek, maar zat al wel een aantal weken met het bovenstaande idee in mijn hoofd. Voor deze post had ik mooi de gelegenheid om mijn idee voor een nieuwe manicure echt vorm te geven. Ik besloot te gaan voor een witte manicure die van boven naar beneden overloopt in een zwart/grijze kleur. Dit effect heb ik gemaakt met behulp van een sponsje (de Ombre techniek) Toen mijn nagels gedroogd waren vond ik ze nog niet bijzonder genoeg en dus besloot ik witte lijnen toe te voegen met mijn striper. Hoe meer deze lijnen naar het zwarte deel van de Ombre creatie lopen hoe meer ze opvallen en ik vind het uiteindelijke resultaat van deze creatie goed geslaagd!
As you could already read in the introduction of this post, the theme of this months challenge was Ombre or Watermarble, and I decided to create an ombre nail art for you guys. I haven’t got much experience using the watermarble technik and I’ve been planning to make an ombre manicure for you for a couple of weeks now. So thanks to this months theme I was finally able to create this new manicure. I decided to go for a white manicure that starts light at the top but becomes darker the more you get to the tips of my nails. I’ve created this effect using a sponge (the ombre technic) When my nails had dried completely I didn’t think this nail art was special enough so I used a white striper to create some thin vertical lines on my nails. I think the overall result of this manicure looks great and I’m so curious what you guys think of this new nail art creation!
Maar natuurlijk hebben ook mijn medekandidaten niet stil gezeten. Ook zij kozen voor de Ombre of de Watermarble techniek en op de genummerde foto's in dit artikel kun je het eindresultaat bewonderen. Ik heb onder de foto's de namen van de blogs geplaatst zodat jullie hier ook een kijkje kunnen gaan nemen! Persoonlijk vind ik de manicure van MissLanghaar goed gelukt maar ook de creatie van Nail Gloss is deze maand weer geslaagd! Aan het eind van dit artikel krijgen jullie gelegenheid om te stemmen op jullie favoriete nagelcreatie, en ik ben dan ook heel benieuwd welke van deze manicures jullie favoriet is!
But ofcorse the other contestants have also managed to create some stunning manicures. They’ve also used the Ombre or the Watermarble technik and you can see the complet result of all these nail arts in the pictures above. I’ve placed the names of the bloggers under the pictures and you can use the link to visit their blogs. Personally I think the manicure from MissLanghaar looks wonderful but I’m also a hugh fan of the nail art that Nail Gloss created for us.
