Hallo allemaal, vandaag wil ik graag een review van twee lakjes van een voor mij onbekend merk met jullie delen. Manhattan is een budget cosmetica merk dat ik tegenkwam in Berlijn. Ik zocht nog een mooie glanzende blauwe nagellak en dat was dan ook de belangrijkste reden dat ik verleid werd tot het kopen van deze lakjes. (Naast het feit dat ik zo veel mogelijk nagellak wilde inslaan) Toen ik thuiskwam en wat research naar dit merk deed las ik dat de lakjes van het merk een speciale formule zouden bevatten, waardoor ze snel opdrogen. Ik ben heel benieuwd of dit ook echt klopt! In dit artikel kunnen jullie een eerlijke review van twee van de nagellakken van Manhattan lezen.
Hello everyone, today I'd like to share a honest review of two polishes from a for me unknown brand called Manhattan with you. Manhattan is a very affordable cosmetic brand and I came across these shades while I was shopping in Berlin. I was looking for a shiny blue nail polish and that was the most important reason that I was tempted to buy these shades. (beside the fact that I just wanted to buy as many polishes as possible!) When I came home I did some research and I discovered on the website of Manhattan that this brand claimes that their polishes contain a special fast-hardening formula. I'm very curious if these shades are going to meet my expectations! In this post you can read a honest review about the polishes from Manhattan.
Het eerste lakje van Manhattan dat ik op mijn nagels uitprobeerde is deze glanzende blauwe kleur genaamd: Nr. 10B. Ik was erg nieuwsgierig hoe lang het zou duren voordat al mijn nagels helemaal gedroogd waren. Toen ik de nagellak aanbracht ontdekte ik dat de formule van dit lakje erg dun is, en daardoor is hij dus ook makkelijker aan te brengen. De nagellak droogde in ongeveer 2 minuten en hoewel dat langer is dan 60 seconden ben ik toch erg blij met de kwaliteit van deze lak. Ik vind de kleur van dit lakje ook erg mooi! Ik denk dat deze donkerblauwe kleur perfect is voor bij je spijkerbroek of jurk en de kleur is dan ook heel geschikt voor deze herfst.
The first polish from Manhattan which I tried on my nails was this shiny blue shade called: No. 10B. I was really curious to find out how long it would take to dry all my nails completly. When I applied this nail polish I discovered that the formula of this shade is quite thin, which makes it even easier to apply a thin layer of this blue shade on your nails. The polish dried in about two minutes, and although that's not the same as 60 seconds, I'm very pleased with the quality of this bottle of polish and I love the color as well! I think this would be the perfect nail polish to wear with a denim jeans or dress, and I think this shade is perfect for fall.
De volgende nagellak van Manhattan die ik op mijn nagels geprobeerd heb is deze lichtblauwe kleur genaamd: Nr. 101S. De formule van deze kleur is iets dikker dan de donker blauwe kleur, maar ook deze nagellak kun je heel gemakkelijk op je nagels aanbrengen :) Ik vind de holografische blauwe kleur van dit lakje echt prachtig en ik denk dat deze lak perfect is om op je nagels te dragen gedurende een lange nacht uit. De lak droogde in minder dan twee minuten, en ik ben dan ook erg blij met de kwaliteit van deze kleur. Ik hou van de manier waarop het zonlicht deze kleur nog meer op laat vallen!
The next light blue polish from Manhattan that I tried on my nails is called No. 101S. The formula of this shade is slightly different comparing with the blue shade but, I do think this polish is really easy to apply on your nails as well :) I love the holographic blue shade of this nail polish and I think this is the perfect color for a long night out! This nail polish dried in less than two minutes, so I'm very pleased with the quality of this shade as well. I love how the light makes this shade stand out even more! But did the other polish also manage to meet my expectations?
Maar wat is mijn uiteindelijke mening over deze nagellak? Het eerste donker blauwe lakje en de lichte holografische kleur bedekten mijn nagels allebei met een laag van de lak. Ik heb echter wel twee lagen gebruikt om mijn nagels nog meer op te laten vallen. Ik denk dat Manhattan heel goed inspeelt op de trends van dit seizoen, en ik vind de kleuren echt prachtig op mijn nagels. De Manhattan Quick dry 60 seconds nagellak kost €6,99 en je kunt hem kopen bij o.a. Etos en DA. Ik heb deze lakjes in Duitsland echter voor een veel kleiner prijsje kunnen bemachtigen. Ik ben heel benieuwd wat jullie van deze lakjes vinden!
So what is my overall opinion on these polishes? The first dark blue shade and the light holographic color both covered my nails with one layer of the polish, but I've used two layers to make my nails stand out even more! I think Manhattan plays a long with the trends of this season really well, and I love how these colors turned out on my nails! In the Netherlands you can buy this brand in drugstores like DA and Etos for € 6,99, but I've managed to buy them for a very reasonable price in Berlin! I'm very curious what you guys think of these shades!
