Hallo lieve lezers, vandaag is het tijd voor mijn 4e golden Combo post. De voorgaande artikelen waren een groot succes en daarom heb ik besloten er in de komende maanden nog een aantal met jullie te delen. Te beginnen met bovenstaande combinatie. Ik heb vandaag voor een donkerbruine (bijna paarse) lak in combinatie met een brons/gouden glitter topcoat gegaan om met jullie te delen. Hoewel de glitter nagellak in eerste instantie niet als topcoat bedoelt is, vond ik het toch mooier om hem te combineren met een donkere basiskleur. The past articleswere a big success and that was the reason I decided to share some more golden combo posts with you the upcoming season. Starting with the combination which you can see in the pictures above. Today I have chosen to share adark brown (almostpurple) shade with a bronze / gold glittertopcoat with you. Although the glitter nail polish isn't meant to be used as a topcoat, I like the result even better combining it with adark base color. De basislak die ik voor deze combinatie gebruikt heb, is van Essence en heet Nr. 155 Red Ahead. Ik wilde al een hele tijd een nail art met deze lak maken, maar omdat de kleur zoveel glans bevat was ik er nog niet eerder aan toegekomen. Gelukkig kon ik hem vandaag wel gebruiken! De kleur is bruin maar neigt in fel licht soms naar donker paars. Een hele aparte nagellak dus. Wel heel geschikt als basis voor de combinatie die ik vandaag met jullie wil delen. Deze lak bedekt mijn nagels met maar een laag, en de kwaliteit bevalt me echt supergoed. Het is me al eerder opgevallen dat de donkere lakjes uit het Essence assortiment mijn nagels helemaal mooi bedekken :) Maar genoeg gepraat, op naar de topcoat!
The base coat that I have usedfor this combination is from Essence and is called No. 155 Red Ahead. I wanted to use this color for a long time to make a nail artwith this shade but because the color is so shiny, I didn’t knew how to use it. Luckily, I couldadd it to today's post! The color is brown but almost looks dark purple in bright light. I think this is a very special nail polish and very suitable to use as a base for the manicure that I'd like to share with you today. This polish covered my nails with one layer and I love the quality of this shade as well! I discovered that almost every dark shade from Essence has a great coverage and I can definitely recommend this shade to you. But enough talking, on to the topcoat!
De topcoat die deze combo compleet moet maken heb ik een tijdje geleden van een vriendin gekregen. Ik was er superblij mee, en helemaal in combinatie met deze donkerbruine nagellak vind ik hem prachtig. Dit lakje is van Miss Sporty en heet Nr. 001 Blazing Bronze! Hij komt uit de Oh my gem collectie. De lak is eigenlijk niet bedoelt als topcoat, maar met een donkere kleur als basis krijgt hij wat mij betreft nog een extra dimensie. Hier heb ik twee dunne laagjes van de kleur over elkaar aangebracht. De lak droogt mooi glad en snel op, en is daarom heel geschikt als glitter lak voor bijvoorbeeld de feestdagen! Omdat de kleur niet 100% goud te noemen is, vind ik hem erg bijzonder en denk ik dat ik hem zeker vaak op mijn nagels zal gaan dragen!
The topcoat which should complete this combo I got a while ago as a present from my best friend. I was very happy with to add this nail polish to my collection, andcombining this shade with a dark base makes this polish look even more beautiful. This polish is from Miss Sporty and is called No. 001 Blazing Bronze! It was launched in the Oh my gem collection.The paint is not really intended as a topcoat, but with a dark color as a base you can add an extra dimension to this shade. For this article I used two thin layers ofthe color. The paint dries smooth and fast, and is therefore very suitable as a glitter polish for the holidays! Becausethe color is not 100% gold, I find it very special and I think I'll definitely wear this shade on my nails again!
