This week I want to share this article with you where I show you one color that is a real must-have in your nail polish collection this winter. This shade is from Shoeby Fashion, a popular Dutch fashion brand which your can find online and in the Netherlands. This is one ofmy favorite shops, where I like to come to scorebasic items but they also offer a lot of other must have clothing as well. The polish that I'll share with you in this article are no longer available, but because this metallic shade is going to be a Hugh trend this December, I wanted to share them with you in this post today. I did wanted to tell you something more about Shoeby Fashion as well. And because this is a nail-related blog, the color that I'll share in this article can hopefully give you some more inspiration to start painting your own nails this month. In dit artikel wil ik graag een glitterlak van Shoeby met jouw delen. Ik heb nog niet vaak gezien dat een kleding merk ook nagellak uitbrengt. Hoewel dit een limited edition is vond ik het dus wel een goed idee. In dit artikel wil ik het lakje graag beter voor je uittesten, en laat ik een paar items zien die ik in de webshop van Shoeby fashion vond, en waar ik instant verliefd op werd! Zwarte kanten tops, glitter jurkjes met veel palettes, maar ook de statement necklace gaan we in de kerstcollectie veel terugzien! Natuurlijk kan de high waisted skirt voor een mooie en elegante look zorgen! De glitter lak komt uit een apart setje en is helaas niet meer te koop, maar hij past wel goed in het kleurenpatroon dat Shoeby deze kerst in de winkels introduceert. Een en al glitter en zwarte details!
In this article I would like to share a glitterpolish from Shoeby Fashion with you. You don't see fashion brands who have made their own nail polish that often, and I thought it would be very interesting to start trying a new shade for you guys. In this article I would like to share some swatches of this polish and I will also show you a few items that I discovered when I looked at the Shoeby Fashion holiday collection. I instantly fell in love when I saw all those Black lace tops, dresses with lots of glitter palettes. But we will also see the statement necklace in the Christmas collections! Of course, the high waisted skirt can provide a beautiful and elegant look as well. Unfortunately this glitter nail polish isn't available anymore but they fit very well in the color pattern that a lot of fashion brands will share with us this season!

Hierboven kunnen jullie swatches van het zilveren lakje zien. In eerste instantie dacht ik dat deze lak bedoeld was als glitter topcoat, maar je blijkt hem ook goed als gewone nagellak kleur te kunnen gebruiken. Wel moet je in dat geval eerst een basic witte laag aanbrengen zoals ik in dit artikel ook heb gedaan. Op die manier kunnen de glitters nog meer opvallen. Hoewel ik deze kleur heel mooi vond, was ik toch heel erg ontevreden over de droogtijd van deze nagellak. Na een half uur waren mijn nagels nog steeds niet gedroogd en bovendien had ik een dikke laag topcoat nodig om mijn nagels enigszins toonbaar te maken. Een leuk lakje, maar al met al niet heel geschikt als basis voor nail arts!
In the pictures above you cansee some swatches of the silver polish. At first I thought this was meant to be as a glitter lacquertopcoat, but the photos showed me that you can use this shade as a basic color on your nails as well. I did need to apply a layer of white polish under the glitter. In that way, the silver metallic color could stand out even more. Although I really liked this shade, I was very dissatisfied with the drying process of this nail polish. After half an hour mynails were still not dried, and beside that I needed a thick layer of topcoatto make my nails anywhere near presentable. This is a pretty color, but not appropriate for a nail art base at all!
