Welkom in 2015! Het is 12 uur s ’nachts en ik ben zo gek om jullie als een van de eerste een gelukkig nieuw jaar te wensen. En natuurlijk kan ik dat niet beter doen dan met een nieuwe manicure! Ik heb weer superveel goede voornemens voor 2015 en ik ben benieuwd of jullie ook een paar doelen voor jezelf hebben gesteld. Laatst bekeek ik alle mooie nail arts die ik het afgelopen jaar gemaakt heb, en kwam tot de conclusie dat ik dat dit jaar minstens wil evenaren. De nail art die ik vandaag met jullie wil delen is geïnspireerd op oud en nieuw en ik hoop dat jullie hem mooi vinden. Welcome to 2015! It’s 12 a.m. and I’m so crazy to wish you all a happy, healthy and creative new year. And of course I cannot wish you a happy new year without a new manicure! I have made some resolutions for 2015 and I'm wondering if you have set any goals for yourself as well. This week I’ve taken a look at all the pretty nail arts that I made last year, and came to the conclusion that I want to make just as much nail arts in 2015! The nail art that I want to share with you today is inspired by new year’s eve, and I hope you like it. For this first design in 2015, I have used only two polishes, but I am very pleased with the final result of this manicure. Wondering which colors I've used? Het blauwe lakje dat ik voor deze nail art gebruikt heb heet Nr. 613 Midnight rendezvous. Deze nagellak komt uit de 60 Seconds Colour Rush Nailpolish collection by Rita Ora van Rimmel London en de namen van de lakjes zijn ook door Ora haarzelf verzonnen. De collectie bestaat uit zes nagellakken waaronder drie koele tinten en drie warme tinten. Deze donker paarse nagellak bedekt mijn nagels met twee laagjes en droogt bovendien erg snel op! Binnen twee minuten waren mijn nagels gedroogd en ze hadden een mooie gladde finish. Daarom is dit mijn favoriete kleur uit de collectie! Maar hoe heb ik de nail art die je in dit artikel kunt zien gemaakt?
The blue polish that I used to create this nail art is called Nr. 613 Midnight rendezvous. This polish is from the 60 Seconds Colour Rush Nail polish collection by Rita Ora and is released by Rimmel London. Miss Ora herself came up with matching names for the polishes in this collection. This collection has six new shades and contains three cool and three warm colors. This dark purple polish covers my nails with two layers of the polish and dryes really quick. Within two minutes, my nails were dried completely and they had a very smooth finish! And that's why this is one of my favorite shades from this collection! But how have I managed to create this new year’s eve manicure?
Zoals je waarschijnlijk al is opgevallen is deze nail art gemaakt met maar twee kleuren. De blauwe kleur die ik hierboven besproken heb, bracht ik als eerste op mijn nagels aan. Toen deze basislaag gedroogd was, besloot ik witte details toe te voegen. Eerst omlijnde ik de randen van mijn nagels met een witte striper en daarna maakte ik witte ringen op mijn nagels. Toen ik begon met nagels lakken wist ik nog niet wat ik wilde maken, maar uiteindelijk ben ik wel tevreden met het eindresultaat. De witte ringetjes lijken bijna op champagne bubbels, en ik vond het gewoon heel leuk om 2015 te beginnen met een nonchalante en simpele nagelcreatie, die toch ook een eye-catcher is. s’Avonds valt de blauwe kleur weg, maar de witte details vallen in het schijnsel van het vuurwerk juist super veel op!
As you have probably already noticed this nail art is made with just two colors. I applied the blue color that I have discussed above first on my nails. When this base layer had dried, I decided to add some white details. First I painted the contours of my nails with a white striper and then I made some white rings on my nails, to let them stand out even more. When I started making this manicure I did not know what I wanted to do, but in the end I am happy with the final result. The white rings almost look like champagne bubbles, and I found it just really nice to start 2015 with a casual and simple nail creation, which is also an eye-catcher anyway. This evening the white details will stand in the glow of the fireworks and I’m very curious what you guys think of this manicure!
